    THE HOBBIT FINALE WAS SPECTACULAR

The best of the trilogy; probabkly too many battle scenes, but the story was wrapped up beautuifully, and the tender homecoming at the end of the film was heartwarming. Peter Jackson is a master storyteller, director and knows how to utlilize everything he has at his disposal, plus budget, to create magnificent films that entertain.

The three "Hobbit" Extended Edition 3D blu-rays are among the best 3D titles available, in my opinion, with amazing detail and clarity. All three were release-day purchases for me, and I've enjoyed them multiple times. While the third installment isn't my favorite film in the series, the battle scenes are wonderful to watch.

The Hobbits movies have been great to watch. This last one of the three starts were the second left off and goes to the start of The Lord of The Ring. The acting and action scenes were very good. The story kept your attention. It is not a boring movies. It's like riding a roller coaster. A great movie for the whole family can enjoy.

Great Ending to a Trilogy and Beginning the next

If you have seen the first two Hobbit movies then you will not be disappointed. The Battle of the Five Armies is action packed non-stop. I only wish it was longer. I am not one to give spoilers but it's a great ending to a new beginning of the Lord of the Rings. If you are a fan of the franchise then you will have to see this one.

This is a great movie but the best part is that now that all of them are out and the series is complete, it is time to strap on some Depends underwear, grab some Mountain Dew and settle in for a marathon Hobbit fest! Ready for action and hitting play in 4,3,2...

Although the Hobbit series was not as powerful as the originally trilogy. They are great movies nonetheless. This is an epic depiction of the Tolkien lore. I saw it in theaters and I had to buy it the second it came out. I am a huge fan of the Lord of The RIngs universe and this is a most have for any fan of the books and the lore.

Peter Jackson's last Hobbit movie is amazing and true to his vision. While the movie follows J.R.R. Tolkien's main themes, he has added to it so fans can see how it ties into the Lord of The Rings movie trilogy. It might be too intense for very small children but all in all it is a great final movie into the world of Middle Earth.

Aside from the obvious fact that Windows always assumes you are a mind reader and forces you to find things by accident, this is a super fast fine computer. Performance-wise I am extremely pleased after one whole week. If I have a complaint, it is the poorly executed, less than complete and useful user manual. Good value for money

This is the third movie in the Hobbit trilogy. For J.R.R Tolkien fans, this is nirvana! These movies are all far superior in quality. Even if the storyline isn't for you, the breathtaking visuals are worth watching this movie for. But you know you want it. So stop reading my jabberings and go get your copy of this movie!

Peter Jackson knows The Hobbit series best after directing The Lord of the Rings trilogy. More special effects in these movies for better resolution. Digital code is also included for good measure.

...but it is an overly entertaining series and this was the perfect end to it. I understand there may be people who complain because it expanded on the book and created characters, and I understand how people could feel that way. But I was not familiar with the book so I just enjoyed it fro a great piece of fantasy film making.

I love the look and feel of the steelbook version of this blu-ray. The Battle of the Five Armies is an incredible movie. The special features on this version are good, but I wish there were more. I imagine the extended version will have a lot more special features when it comes out, but I couldn't wait. I wanted the steelbook.

The best way to see the movie outside of the multiplex. The bigger the display and louder the surround sound, the better your experience will be as the picture quality and surround mix are outstanding. The story is subjective as it was purchased for the wife and kids but the mastering of the disk is as good as you can ask for.

Is it Tolkien? Not exactly. But is it a fun fantasy film, consistent with the actors & imagery of Lord of the Rings? Absolutely. There are lots of things to pick apart in the Hobbit films, but considering how short the source material is compared to LOTR, I give Peter Jackson props for such a massive undertaking.

I was a little concerned about how much extra was included in the movie vs. the book - how do you stretch The Hobbit into 3 films, but I should have known that Peter Jackson would not fail the Tolkien fans. Thank you for letting us visit Middle Earth one last time (unless he'd be willing to take on the Silmarillion).

This movie gets better over and over every time you watch it. An excellent third installment of the Hobbit and leads us back into the Lord of the Rings...which we will be watching again...such a sound basis...explains so much. Don't miss it..although I suspect if you are a fan of these movies..you wouldn't miss it anyway!!!

Some criticized Peter Jackson's decision to make the Hobbit into a full trilogy of films. I think the first and third entries are weaker than they should be just because he stretched the material so far. That being said, all three movies are a lot of fun and make for a grand spectacle. I was never a fan of the book, so I don't have the baggage many viewers do when comparing it to the original. The actors did great work and the CGI is very impressive. This film is definitely worth a look.

Saw this in the theater and the whole family enjoyed it! They did take some license with the original material but the end product is so good you don't mind and it ends up just being an enjoyable flick. It's actually better than the 2nd installment of this trilogy "Desolation of Smaug". The steelbook case looks nice also!

The Hobbit Trilogy is awesome. I wish their was a continuation of the song from Hobbit 1, to concluded their journey, hardship, and ultimate success. This tale helps me to find strength for each day as we encounter obstacles along our way. It encourages perseverance and courage. Great production, story, and music. Bravo!

You can tell this movie was directed by Peter Jackson. Thank goodness it was him who directed the movie. The final chapter to JRR Tolkien's, The Hobbit, is an authentic film made from the heart. I appreciate a director that is a fan of the books and fought to make a film version. My heart-felt thanks to Peter Jackson.
