As the third and final movie of the Hobbit, this was truly an amazing experience. The added story elements, which at first seemed extraneous in the first two installments, truly made the final experience so much better.

The third movie of the Hobbit trilogy starts out with a lot of action.. If you haven't seen the first two movies you would be at a complete loss. But for true Hobbit fans this third movie starts where the second movie ends. Great battle scenes and a total conclusion to the series.

If you like the theatrical release of those movie, you will definitely enjoy this version. Of the three movies in this trilogy, I feel this extended edition had the most to offer (I own all 3 EE's). The extra content gave it more depth and it seemed like a different movie.

Peter Jackson has taken the entire realm of Hobbits, Elves and Dwarves to heights that none other has been able to achieve. This epic tale has been a favorite since first reading it as a child. To see it in completion on the big screen is more than we all could've imagined.

Purchased the 3D BluRay I never have much cared for 3D movies but this one is great. The video quality of the 3D really showed off well on my Sony 4K tv and Sony 4K BkuRay player both bought at BestBuy. Turn off the lights kick back and enjoy the movie you will be happy you did.

This final installment in the Hobbit/LOTR saga is probably the very best. Exceptional performances, beautiful cinematography, and an outstanding supporting cast makes this one easy to love. I only have two thumbs with which to point upward, but if I had more I would. Cheers!

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (DVD)(UV Digital Copy) was a very satisfying end to the Hobbit trilogy. Good triumphs in the end and all is right with Middle Earth. Special effects are phenomenal and the battle scenes are over the top. Held my attention till the end.

What a magnificent, thrilling way to end the Hobbit trilogy. I especially liked the scenes foreshadowing upcoming events in The Lord of the Rings. All the movies now play like a grand six part story if watched in order. It's been a wonderful visit to the world of Middle-earth.

I liked this movie because of the entertaining story line. I can't say that there is anything special other than that. It is better than the 1st of this specific series and equivalent to the 2nd one. However, I still like the original "Lord of Rings" series much better.

This movie was the final chapter for the trilogy, "The Hobbit". Being a fan of The Lord of the Rings trilogy, this was a natural progression for me to watch this film. I loved the awesome special effects, and each of the characters were interesting. I recommend this film.

This is my favorite of the trilogy with the dwarf army making its appearance. As with the Lord of the Rings, this is a great movie with the extended edition filling in some areas and adding more to an already great film. Fantastic Film!

I own the others in the series, so naturally, when the final movie came out, I had to snag this one, too. It doesn't disappoint. Die hard Hobbit / Lord of the Rings fan don't even need this review - they're just going to buy it (just like I did) to add it to their collection.

The Hobbit should never have been made into a trilogy, but this was pretty satisfactory conclusion.

I have to say, they saved the best for last. The second Hobbit movie should have been combined with the first or split between the first and The Battle of the Five Armies. This movie has plenty of action and does focus more on the characters and the choices they have to make.

How can you go wrong with an adventure series like The Hobbit?? The story line deviates away from the written text, but that is not necessarily a "bad" thing because The Hobbit in its entirety really does set you up for The Lord Of The Rings.

I watched with my grandchildren ages 8&9 and they never left the room. The story started off with a fast pace and never stopped. For me the battle was not the whole story, as I see it the story was more about knowing who you are and what you could become if you let wealth ,power and greed rule you life. Thank God for the movies at times teaching us we can overcome these emotions and become a much better person in the end.

The special effects were awesome and the visual imagery was stunning throughout. It was a tough conclusion trying to balance all the different elements in play, but Peter Jackson and co. was able to pull it off in the end. Smaug was a true terror and I am sad to see it end.

I love movies that offer incredible scenery and magical details. If you're a fan of fantasy movies that have been done well, this one's for you. Be sure to watch the Lord of the Rings trilogy too.

This was the best one of the three, I completed my collection of the Lord of the Rings / Hobbit series and I enjoyed it very much. The Hobbit series didn't stick to the book as much as I would like but I think that's problem of any movie from a book. I love Peter Jackson.

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies concludes Peter Jackson's The Hobbit Trilogy. Ties the first two movies to an epic ending. Great action, great story. A must own. Recommend see the first two Hobbit movies which are An Unexpected journey & The Desolation of Smaug.
