I buy blurays just so I can watch the special features and these movies have some of the best in the world. The movie is alright but after you watch the special features it instantly makes it better because you see all the hard work that they put into it.

The steel book on this version of the hobbit is amazing!!! I love Best Buy exclusive steel books they are high-quality and should be the standard for all Blu-ray movies. No one I'm pretty sure wants plastic cases and all Blu-rays need to have steel book cases

Both installers were very professional did a great job installing new 70 Vizio tv with new mount new center speaker added to my surround Sound System (receiver), Direct tv receiver, Xbox 360,except were installer hooked up my DVDs/VHS did not get it to operate

I can't believe it's a done deal . No more Hobbits movies #! $@_%. This movie had my attention . I yelled at everybody in my house kids were making noise wife was asking questions told everyone to be quiet. The movie was awesome will not disappoint you at all.

At first I did not think I would like the Hobbit story compared to The Lord of the Rings but surprisingly the trigology was just as good. This is a must see movie. The story was great, the action was great and the effects were great. There nothing bad to say.

The quality of of the product is great, but the film itself was a little overboard with Jackson adding his own twist. For the Tolkien purist, this movie is garbage. But I have taken the middle ground and have accepted this Hobbit trilogy as and entertaining and quality film despite it not being true to the book. I recommend with reservations.

Lots of action. It was definitely LOTR - but also had more time to plan out than the second Hobbit movie (DoS). The movie took a lot of liberties with the book, but it was well done, and the extended content, gives fans even more action.

Very sharp images, very good subject matter. I could see the attitudes of today population. Greed, power, Control,are the types of individual. There at four types of choices; bad, good, better and best. The movie showed several good choices but not the best.

I am a fan of the Lord of The Rings trilogy and must say that I enjoyed how the story of the Hobbits evolved. Although all good things must come to an end, the story line in the finale seem to drag somewhat but picked up in the end. This blu-ray version included the dvd for sharing and a digital copy which is great for viewing on your mobile device. Price match made this a good deal at Best Buy!

I have been a fan of all the J.R.R. Token novels of middle earth. Therefore, I am the best judge as to whether Peter Jackson's adaptation meets the challenge. One word, "Justice". To expand, he does justice while paying homage to the book. Highly recommend.

Great work on the finale to the series. I was a little skeptical at first about all of the extra content that was written into the series that wasn't in the books, but it seemed to fit the overall storyline and I was satisfied with how it all tied together.

Peter Jackson fans will need no encouragement to acquire this film. Personally, I think the Hobbit trilogy is even better than the Lord of the Rings trilogy, insofar as it possesses the same, unusually high production values, while being a lot tighter.

This was a wonderful movie just like the other Hobbit movies! I'm a huge fan and have purchased the other movies as well. This movie was just as good as the other movies. Great humor, drama and plenty of action. The acting as usual was on par! Great movie!

Many 3D movies try to use too much of it and end up giving you a headache. Not this movie. The 3D was done well so that it enhances the movie naturally without trying to show off. The depth of field it adds makes the large battle scenes very spectacular.

The film is essentially a 2 hour and 30 min action sequence with the best production values money can buy. Forget having a narrative, lets just throw as many action sequences together and loosely string them together with a premise that we'll call a plot.

Yes, the series probably should have been wrapped up in 2 movies, but it really played out in an epic and grand finale. Plus, this is one of the best steelbooks I have seen in a long time, the artwork is outstanding, you will not be disappointed with it!

I have always been amazed at how such a complicated short book called "The Hobbit" could be brought to the screen presented in a way that fairly well follows the book but also makes it come alive. The movie is stunning using New Zealand as the background.

Another epic saga ended. I only wish Tolkien had written another tale worthy of Peter Jackson to take on again. I thought this movie would be corny and childish, but ot delivered in a big way, and the added scenes for th extended version. Wow!

Fantastic story done very well translated to movie form. Very good acting. Great effects. Wonderful scenery. Awesome casting. A few liberties were taken to make the movie more exciting, but it doesn't hurt the story at all.

Great movie and all the features are wonderful. I'm just not sure why they're doing away with a Bluray/DVD/Digital movie set. I don't have bluray in every room so this limits my viewing options. Still, an awesome movie that finished my set.
