Just kidding. Fun movie, the extended version adds more story details that help make it a more interesting film than the theatrical version. Blu-ray is excellent looking and sound incredible. Buy it if your a fan, worth the purchase.

In my opinion this movie is the 2nd best of the 3 (with the first being the best). It's a good ending to the story, and the battle scenes are excellent. They also did a great job casting Bilbo for these movies. This was my favorite book as a little kid, and the movies are solid (not as good as the LOTR movies, though). If you are a Tolken fan you'll enjoy these movies, though.

Sure, the battles drag on a bit, but it's a great movie. There is no other fitting end to the evil that existed in the books. And seeing it in 3-D is incredible! All of them have been incredible seen in 3D. Get this. You know you want it...

The extended edition fills in a few gaps left unanswered in the standard edition. Note: Some of the added scenes are bloody or gory, which is why this film received an R rating. If that does not bother you, enjoy the extra 20+ minutes

I love the Lord of the Rings Franchise and I thought all the Hobbit movies were great. I know there is only 1 book and they made 3 movies from it. I haven't read the book in a super long time, but I found the movies to be exciting and fun!

I purchased this film primarily because I appreciate the quality of all the Peter Jackson Tolkien book films. However this one exceeded my expectations for the franchise. The battle with Smaug was particularly well visualized and executed.

I think this third movie of the three was the best and had a good ending. If you can't afford all three you could get this one and be satisfied. If you have liked these movies in general then this one will please you as a keeper.

I saw the Lord of the Ring movies and after finishing the entire collection, I would have to say this one may be my favorite. The special effects are incredible and it's always wonderful to see the year by year advancement of it all.

I love these movies, have the entire set of the Hobbit & L.O.T.R. they follow the books well enough and are enjoyable to watch, if rather lengthy. But if you are a fan the lengthiness isn't really an issue. The special effects are great.

3 movies were definitely too much for an adaptation of the Hobbit, but I enjoyed them anyway. This one, the last one, finishes strong with probably the most action of the 3. If you like The Lord of the Rings movies, this one is a must see

I bought this for my husband as he is a big Hobbit & Lord of the Rings fan. He really liked this last installment, although he kept mentioning that the movie didn't exactly follow the book....but he has said this about all of the movies:)

Bought as pre-order in store, redeemed Cinemanow and then when the box came in was delighted to also find a UV code so now we have it in multiple formats and streaming sources. Kids love the series and makes for a great family movie night

This was the last of the Hobbit trilogy. Though the Lord of the Rings got better reviews, I thought this last movie was a better ending than the last of the Rings series. Besides a lot of action, I thought the 3D was better in this one.

I love the Hobbit movies this is a great set. I don't need the blue ray so the DVD and digital copy are great. I love the digital copies of movies because I have a growing library of movies I never have to worry about scratching!

Looks so good in 3D. You will want to add this to your collection because the cinematography is so much better than the first 2 films in this trilogy (looks like you are at the location with them). Much add for your 3D movie collection.

Movie is okay, no where near as good LOTR but it is still better than most fantasy movies out there. leaves you on a massive cliff hanger. But really this review is about my experience @ Best Buy and it was good as always.

Not as good as the first film, which I also have in 3D. Very good action scenes, not sure what they added on. This box contained 3D and blu ray discs, but no regular dvd. It does have Ultra Violet, so you can get the regular dvd selection from there possibly

The hobbit the battle of the five armies is the best movie of this trilogy. It is packed with great action scenes. It also has a superior plot. The HD format as terrific color and Sound. This is a must-have movie for everybody to enjoy.

If you are a fan of the Lord of the Rings series, then you'll like The Battle of Five Armies. It was a great end to the series and featured a great battle amongst humans, elves, dwarves, orcs and more. Also the 3D effect were top notch.

Although steering away from the original story substantially peter Jackson gives us 1 last look at Middle Earth. IIt is beautifully shot and the performances are great except for Orlando bloom who seemed to be going through the motions
