After slogging through what seemed like hours of unnecessary filler in the first 2 films, my patience paid off! The Five Armies was well worth the wait, and reminiscent of what made the original LOTR films so great

Very cool steelbook! Very awesome art on the case as well. The movie itself is really good (although it's not the best hobbit movie) and the video/sound quality is also very well done. If you're going to own it, own this version.

A wonderful Finale to a fun trilogy. Taking a single book and extending it to 3 movies sounds like a bit much, but it was fun to come back to middle earth on the screen and not feel too rushed. Any fans of LOTR would love this.

The Extended edition was spectacular in 3D. It was recut to be rated R and includes almost twice the battle scene footage as the theatrical release including spectacular CGI segments with dwarfs and trolls. Buy this movie.

Beyond the mental exercise of counting armies ~ and SO many more players than five~ Battle of the Five Armies is a satisfying finale to a legendary story telling. Makes for an ideal holiday weekend movie marathon!

I already have the Hobbit Trilogy on DVD, and BluRay. Now that 3D is dead, I'm trying to buy all of the films shot in 3D for my collection. This is a classic story which has been faithfully crafted to film.

This was absolutely AMAZING!!! It was my favorite movie from the saga. Mr. Jackson, the actors and the entire production staff did an incredible , job on the Lord of the rings trilogy, with this production as its crowning jewel.

awesome ending to the trilogy (which probably could have been done in 2 movies) but fine none the less. the movie flew by didn't even realize it was 2 1/2 hours. Now we just need a director & screenwriter for "The Silmarillion".

Was happy to find the last of the Hobbit movies, as I had all the others (including LOTR), and we were binge-watching them one weekend. BB had it, plus some other greats that I won't get until Christmas. Thanks BB!

The 3d in this film is great, and the extended version turns out better than the theatrical. Sure, there didn't NEED to be 3 Hobbit films, but it works okay and is a decent ending to the trilogy. Good supplements as well.

I have always looked forward to Jackson's extended cuts of not only his original "Lord of the Rings" saga, but his elongated interpretation of "The Hobbit" as well. The extended cuts are a must see for the die hard fan!!!

This is the best of the Hobbit Trilogy movies, Peter Jackson has become my favorite director. The 3D quality is outstanding, it's like an "in-theater" experience. Classic good vs evil movie where the little guy is the hero.

The Battle of the Five Armies is a nice conclusion to the Hobbit series. Great special effects and lots of action sequences in this one. If you loved the previous Hobbit movies, you will love this action packed final episode.

I absolutely loved this movie and couldn't wait for the extended edition to come out. I picked it up shortly after release and love every bit of it. It's a great film for anyone who loves the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings

I got this mostly for the 3D to be honest. The movie was OK, not great.

This was a very fitting way to conclude the 2 separate sets of trilogies. The action and story telling was spot on. Also, the movie leaves you with a subtle nudge to go back and start watching Lord of the Rings all over again

    The Third Hobbit Movie

This is the third Hobbit movie and although entertaining and well made, way too long. The original book is about 280 pages and Peter Jackson has drawn it out to three long movies. This third one (although with plenty of good effects) is just way too long. If you have the first two, I would recommend buying the third. If not just rent it or stream it.

The third and final movie of the Hobbitt Trilogy was just great. The Blue Ray edition contains over 20 minutes of the making of the movie. Also included was the making of the vocal played at the end of the movie. Great value.

They had the movie right inside the door, easy to find on the release date. Movie was awesome! My husband watched in 2x on the first day. Love that it comes with a digital copy too. Can watch it on our ipad anywhere, anytime!

I wish they would come out with the extended version of movies the first time out...Had to wait to long to get this. Can't afford to waste money and by the short version and then buy the extended version months later..
