Getting the 3d blu ray version is really worth it.Best buy offered a really good price for the 3d version.I love that it also comes with a digital copy I can watch from anywhere.The movie is great but in 3d is even better.

The Hobbit the Battle of the 5 Armies is an epic film that wonderfully closes the Hobbit trilogy and transitions wonderfully into the Fellowship of the Ring. It is a must have for any fan of the Hobbit or Lord of the Rings.

I saw this movie during the Christmas and it was great. I had already seen the other two previous Hobbit movie. This was the third and last installment of the Hobbit trilogy movies. Highly recommend that you buy this movie.

The finale in the trilogy, was shot using an EPIC RED 3D camera so the 3D is amazing, havent had a chance to go through all of the special features yet, but I had to own the movie in 3D as I have the other 2 in this format.

Fun, action-filled movie. (IMO it's further proof that Peter Jackson has never, ever, ever in his life picked up the actual book "The Hobbit", but setting that aside . . . ) Great scenes, and never dull. Fun movie to watch!

Great movie, fitting end to the series. Sure there was a lot of stuff in the 3 Hobbit movies that weren't in the book, but most of it was in the appendices and it all made for great movies. And we like the steelbook cases.

I love all the Hobbit and Lord of the Ring movies. They are well done and fun to watch. I'm just sad this is the last one. It's a good way for the Hobbit movies to come to and end and lead into the Lord of the Rings.

I would recommend this movie to anyone interested in the Lord of the Rings. It gives background to the story and develops characters that are ones you can connect with. I have enjoyed all of the LOTR movies over the years.

This was the perfect ending to the prequel trilogy, too bad the series had to end. great acting, outstanding visual effects and of course the characters cannot be duplicated with such amazing writing

The story was great and the end of the trilogy did not disappoint. Each of the three movies just got better and better and so were the 3D special effects. The battle scenes were great and I wanted the movie to never end.

I love the original Lord of the Rings movies so I had to buy this one when it came out. I always buy the extended versions because they always add just a little bit more to the film to make it that much better.

The original version of this film is pretty cool so I wanted to get some extra viewing pleasure. I was not disappointed. I would recommend the extended version to all who can't get enough of Middle Earth.

The Hobbit: Battle of The Five Armies was an excellent film. A great job was done in bringing the series to an end. The extras included in the dvd case were an added bonus. I will be re-watching many times in the future.

Our family loves the Lord of the Rings Movies and the Hobbit is no different. Iread the book to my kids when they were young and the movie adaptation is wonderfully done. Best Buy has the greatest selection.

The hobbit being one of my favorite books, I did enjoy these movies, but feel that it could have been done in two movies. Can't blame the studios for capitalizing on the cash cow that it became though. The steelbook was in good shape and had nice artwork. Only problem with it was smaug was in the movie for barely a quarter of it, maybe even less.

Bought this movie for my wife who is a big fan of The Hobbit and Lord of the Ring movies. Best Buy's package deal allowing her to view the movie on her smart phone, Ipad or computer is a definite plus. She is very happy.

This was a gift for a grandson. We watched the movie together. The movie was entertaining and the DVD played without any issues. I was surprised to find a copy at my local Best Buy, as three other outlets were sold out!

As a movie, The Battle of Five Armies is a great wrap to The Hobbit trilogy. As a Blu Ray/DVD combo, this set is pretty awesome as well. There is a lot of extra content that adds to the overall experience of The Hobbit.

Great movie, extended editions are the best. The only bad thing is the year wait for them, I'm not sure why the rating was changed to R for this one. I didn't see anything too gory in it to warent a rated R rating.
