I liked the movie, only issue i had was that the 3d version took up 2 blu rays and you had to get up and change the blu ray... other than that very good and I always love the best buy only stuff. I would do excellent but like i said getting up to change a disc while watching a movie kinda kills vibe you get in while you watch a movie.

After waiting for what seems like 10 years, I have finally have all three hobbit movies! The ending is great and if you've never read the books you won't know the difference in the movie. Great visual and sound.

A great continuation of the series. I was not a fan originally, but after seeing the first movie in this series, I was hooked. This movie did not disappoint. Video and sound quality was excellent (as expected).

This movie was well in keeping with the others in this series. Marvelous stunts, the scenery is outstanding, still trying to figure out how they got the "elk" cooperate for riding, guess it must be an Elf thing?

Bringing the Hobbit series to an end, this movie leaves me whishing it was as good as the Lord of the Rings trilogy. It was certainly the weakest of the Hobbit movies, but was well shot and produced. It's certainly hard to turn one book into three movies, but the end feels like the director said enough already as it is anticlimactic.

The only Hobbit/Lord of the rings movie to be rated "R" and with good reason. Some very violent battles are depicted in this one, overall it keeps up the tradition with plenty of extras and deleted scenes.

The special effects and 3d make this sci-fi movie a hit. the beginning ties in with the previous movie well and the movie takes you from beginning through the end in a slow process that leaves a little to be desired. I would recommend this movie to people who like 3d movies. However some people may not stay awake for the whole thing.

I'm not rating the movie itself just this Blu-Ray production. Some sites list this as having Dolby Atmos, but the disc most definitely does not. Still a great visual and auditory experience. I usually wait for one of the "final" complete, Director's cut, compilation but I wanted t try out my Atmos setup. I'll try another disc now.

The book I continually read over and over. I have seen attempts at the movie before and none are as good as the book ... until now. Excellent job staying to the story line and bringing me into the movie.

Battle of the five armies was Epic and having read the book, this movie went beyond all my expectations bringing the story to life. Recommend seeing all of the hobbit series and lord of the rings series too.

While the Hobbit trilogy is a 'smaller' set of stories than the Lord of The Rings franchise, it delivers much of the same amazing effects, likable characters, and thrilling battles as it's earlier film cousin.

FULL OF ACTION; IF YOU WANT ADVENTURE & A LOT OF ACTION SURPRISES; THIS IS THE MOVIE FOR YOU; FAR BETTER THAN THE BOOK; THE BEST OT THE THREE SERIES; WORTH COLLECTING & SEEING AGAIN & AGAIN & AGAIN.

I thought I had it but guess not! We watch these movies often enough and the price was low that it made sense to buy it rather than rent online.

Such a great ending to a wonderful trilogy. I think it was a bit of a stretch to make a 300 page book into 3 separate movies, but the action scenes in this are incredible! A great addition to your collection.

These movies did not follow the book, so if you like the book and expect a word for word transcript then you probably will not like this movie. There are times when the cgi is a little questionable but for the most part it is pretty good. The movie drags a bit in a few parts. All in all, it is a pretty good action/fantasy movie.

Great conclusion to another awesome retelling of a famous book. Peter Jackson's interpretations are phenomenal and the special effects mixed with brilliant story telling make for a true classic. A must see.

If your a hobbit fan then you need this. It's been a long wait to get to this point, but you will not be disappointed, plenty of action and great graphics as usual. Get it now preferably the extended version!

I read the Hobbit as a kid and always envisioned how it would look on screen. Well Peter Jackson has not disappointed yet. Great! Spectacular visuals and a great soundtrack. Hated to see the Trilogy end:(

3 major senarios going on in this movie. The battle for earth's realm of man nearly comes to an end. The elves, dwarfs, hobbits and man take a stand against their nemesis. Great battle scenes.

An intense culmination to the Hobbit trilogy, this film adds more of the "extras" which wouldn't have been found in the novel "The Hobbit". Some people might care, I don't. The film is highly entertaining.
