Not a great book adaptation but a fun enough follow up to the Lord of the Rings movies. Peter Jackson made a silly adventure into an epic yarn and it feels overstuffed but has its moments that are worth enduring all the fluff for. There's gonna be an extended edition with more extras so if you can wait, wait. Otherwise buy away.

I own like 12 copies of this franchise and I must say I was excited to pick up this extended version of the last hobbit movie. It's compact and brought everything I needed. Price was well worth the buy!

Overall this movie was amazing! I have been thoroughly anticipating this part of the book ever since they announced they would be making the movie and it did not disappoint. The Hobbit is a must watch.

This is the final installment of the Hobbit series and if you bought the first 2 you will most likely buy this one (however Peter Jackson should have left it at a 2 movie series but that is just my opinion)

I enjoyed the movie, especially the dragon chasing the drawfs through the palace. i'll admit that I liked the first two Hobbit movies better but that was because there was more traveling throgh exotic lands.

The final segment of the Lord of the Rings movies. and prequels and sequels. And the end of a movie phenomenon. I loved these, the story and acting and backdrops are all breathtaking. A true mental getaway.

I've never been disappointed with any Hobbit movie! Always exciting and keeps me glued to the screen. All the actors are excellent and provide entertainment. Actors plus story keep me coming back for more!

This final chapter in the Hobbit was way better than the other 2 chapters. Plenty of action and the scenery is awesome. My kid loves this movie from the battle to the dragon all the way to the final battle.

My husband was thrilled to receive this as an anniversary gift. I personally did not watch the movie because I am not a Hobbit fan, but my husband said the movie was excellent and will watch it again soon.

Started watching the series and when we got to the last disc, we couldn't find it. Had to search multiple stores before we found another copy at Best Buy. Complete series again. :)

My family enjoyed this movie very much. I think all three were very true to the Tolkien book and the 3D really popped! I would recommend the entire trilogy. Then watch the Lord of the Rings trilogy after.

I like this Hobbit movie, going to miss not having Hobbit movies, I have the other 2 Hobbit movies really enjoyed all three of Hobbit movies. I like watching like that. I give the Hobbit movie 2 thumbs up.

I don't understand why the first and second hobbit steelbooks were extended edition then this one was regular edition not cool to collector still a pretty sweet addition in my collection

the quality of the DVD was good, the movie itself was good although very different from the book, but overall it was great. The price also was good for this DVD, 14.99 is better than paying over 19 dollars

While not a big Hobbit fan, I watched all 3 Hobbit movies either in the theater or on blu ray or both. This final installment was not as good as the 2nd Hobbit movie. Color reproduction was very good, but not as good as the 4K version in IMAX at 48 fps. Sound is good. All in all, a good movie and blu ray version is very good.

Really enjoyed this movie. This movie is a good ending for the Hobbit trilogy. It has great scenery and a lot of action. Some may believe that there is too much fighting but it goes well with the story.

It was a great movie. Wish it wasn't the end of The Hobbit series. Great bonus features. Looking forward to an extended bonus compilation of the entire Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit in one awesome set.

This is one of my family's favorite series of books and movies and this one did not disappoint. The battles were a bit gory, but the visuals and sound were awesome. We all loved this movie.

This and the others before it is freaking awesome..I love the fight with your swords, arrows and sticks type stuff. This and all movies in the sequel is great so get it or them if you don't have already.

This movie was excellent the transfer quality was great and the soundtrack was incredible. Darker than the Lord of the Rings as everyone you thought would make it didn't. Buy it you won't be disappointed
