I have LOVED this entire series, and this final chapter is amazing! Loved it on the big screen, and appreciated it even more on disc to get all the behind the scenes and bonus material! OUTSTANDING!!!!!!

Battle of the five Armies was a good finish to the prequel series. Not a great finish, but it was good. The action sequences are great and the way they connect it to the Lord of the Rings is smooth-ish. I think that they may have crammed it a little, but hey it's a little extra movie time. Can't complain about that.

I have been a Tolkien fan since childhood. While it is not 100% in sync with the book, it is a great movie! The DVD pack from Best Buy also has the Blue Ray and a digital copy. It's a really good value.

Great movie. I already had this movie. But, when the opportunity to purchase the extended version at a reduced price presented itself, I couldn't resist. The extra story line was great.

Although on rotten tomatoes this movie does not have a good rating, but in my humble opinion it is by far the best film in the hobbit trilogy. This is a must-have for anyone who loves Lord of the rings.

This film is a wonderful addition to the current trilogy. I would have to say however that this is the weakest of the all the entries. Still very enjoyable though and more Hobbit is always a good thing.

This was the final film of the Hobbit trilogy. It was an excellent finish. It added to the Middle Earth mythology by acting as a prequel to the Lord of the Rings trilogy. For all fans of J.R.R. Tolkien.

Well as any fan knows it a very good movie and story it's great specialy in 3D it's just the way to see it only thing i did not like is the in 3D version is in disc 1&2 other then that it's just perfect

This movie is amazing and the price for this specific steel case is worth it. The artwork is fantastic I just wish the synopsis of the movie was not on paper but actually on the back of the case itself.

Having watched all of the Hobbit series and Lord of the Rings, this was an excellent way to complete them. You need to watch the series in order to understand most of the undertones in this movie.

Fans of the series shouldn't be disappointed with the conclusion. Stirring action throughout, with the strong performances and occasional good humor that have defined Peter Jackson's Tolkien adaptions.

This last installment of the Hobbit had it all! Suspense, sadness, powerful emotion, and I cant believe the film noir aspects they threw in there with the elf king. A must own for fantasy and LOtR fans.

If you like little midgets, this is for you. It even has a dragon, guys and gals with pointy ears, and some ugly mo fos. Don't forget about the wiz kid gandolf. Goes great with the other hobbit movies.

visually stunning, I would suggest that you read the book after you watch the movie. Peter Jackson does an excellent job of taking you through the adventures of the Hobbit. Cinema at its absolute best.

A real fan of The Lord of The Rings films I feel only that only Peter Jackson could have done these films as well. This final film was my personal favorite. I enjoyed all the special features as well.

We are huge fans of this whole series. The story and plotline are engaging albeit not part of the book. The actors are fabulous and the cinematography and music are outstanding. Not for small children.

Watched this in theaters and couldn't wait to own the blu ray as well. Phenomenal picture. Looks great on any HD tv. We watched it on our 4K tv and it looked visually better then it did in theaters.

Nice ending to the series, I loved the way they wrapped it up back at the shire. Spoiler Alert!! Out of all of them, probably the least favorite story wise, but that's not bad because they all rocked.

Just like the previous two movies, this one comes packed with extra features such as cut material, director and screenwriter's commentary, and special features. Whether you love or hate Jackson's take on Middle-earth, it is worth purchasing if only so you have better arguments for your side in all the discussion.
