this movie did right by the entire series, it is very action packed. Peter Jackson out did himself with the making of this movie. this movie served as a fitting end to the hobbit trilogy.

Brings the Lord of the Rings full circle. Questions you may have about so many great characters are answered which further enriches your viewing pleasure of every movie in the series.

Truly a great story and movie. To bad the series has ended. The story links well with the Lords of the Ring series written by the same author and presented by the same Director of the films.

Yeah, fanboys cry about this and that when it comes to this franchise. More time to spend in Middle Earth? I'll take it! BTW: I only buy dvd/blue-ray when it comes with a digital copy!

I know people hate it because it doesn't follow the book, and thats understandable. But if you've never read the book, you'll get a kick out of seeing old friends and amazing scenery.

Quick-introductory action, and after a slow build, a solid, climatic conclusion. The Battle of the Five Armies supplies the wonders you'd expect from Peter Jackson as well as a pleasing exit from the Hobbit Trilogy. Striking CGI, quick-wit humor and overall drama brings this Middle-Earth saga full circle.

This is a great movie for the entire family. This is great for those sci-fi people in your lives. Great action and story line to how the ring was found and used prior to Lord of the Rings

The Hobbit series gave us more of what we were craving with the Lord of the Rings saga. This movie was so good in the theater that I had to buy the Blu-Ray when it was at a good price.

This was a great movie ending Bilbo's travels with Gandalf and the dwarfs. It's compelling and heart-warming following along the new characters introduced.

I love this movie it is a great finisher to the trilogy and it has a lot of action sequences. The characters finish out their stories and grow in immense depth during this last installment.

Although based of a small book, the Hobbit Trilogy had done a good visual representation of the characters including ABOTFA as a final (even if the battle in the book is less than 7 pages).

I loved all the Hobbit movies, especially this one. My favorite of the three is the Desolation of Smaug. Absolutely the best cinematic representation of a dragon I've ever seen in a movie.

I have watched all three Lord of the Rings movies and now all three of the Hobbit movies. There is a lot of diversion from the original books, but that's to be expected. A fine experience!

I am not a big Hobbit fan, but do enjoy these type of movies every now and then. For Hobbit folk, this is a must see. Nicely done movie and a good clean movie for young teens.

This fantasy adventure film brings full circle the story's epic conclusion and resolve to the Hobbits of Middle Earth. Great special effects are a continuation of the previous two movies.

This package is a good value - steelbook, multiformat, at a great price. I don't have a great love for UltraViolet as a digital copy format, however. I'd like the option for native iTunes.

Part 3 of 3 and worth the Buy! One for the Collectible shelves. Just like The original, the Collectors/Director's Edition is always the best to watch. Great nastalgia value!

I've been waiting for the Extended Version of this movie to come out. I love the special packaging and how it looks on my shelf. A very good collectors item in The Hobbit series. :)

Great ending to the Hobbit series. I did not read all of the books but have enjoyed all of the Lord of the Ring movies. This one is well done and entertaining to watch.
