I just binge-watched all three Hobbit movies and this was a great ending to the series. Great story line, big battles, and some heart-tuggin' scenes. Well done, Mr. Jackson, well done.

Bought the DVD version by mistake but still love the movie. I don't think this story warranted 3 films and the 2nd one has major flaws, but the trilogy rebounds with this rousing, action filled conclusion. Recommended (but only if you've seen the Lord of The Rings trilogy first).

What's not to like. Having watched it once, I'll next go back watch all six movies in the correct sequence - the three Hobbit movies followed by the three in the Lord of the Rings.

The extended edition adds some additional footage that adds a lot of color to the story. It was thoroughly enjoyable, and I would highly recommend this edition for any LOTR fan

I have the whole collection and this movie is by far the cherry on top of a great story. I only wish for the writer to keep on going with these amazing books that became great films!

As usual the imagery was fantastic. The movie was great except for when the disk for part two had to be inserted. Since the movie was 1/2 a day long, our family went to sleep and we watched the other half the next day, so no big deal. The 3D on the 4K 65 in Sony Bravia was epic in some scenes!!!

Following in it's predecessors footsteps, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies was a great movie. My son and I couldn't take our eyes off the screen. Definitely worth the watch.

I loved the entire series including the LOTR films. This film is packed with content and the steelbook was a definite plus for me because i am fan and collector of everything HOBBIT.

Just like Harry Potter, the Lord of the Rings set is problematic in that it is SOO good but watching any of the movies is a serious commitment because of the time required to do so.

This is such a great ending to a three part movie. This brings me back from when I used to watch the old 1970's animated film and Peter Jackson has done such a wonderful job of capturing the characters with the right actors. All around great film that I will enjoy to watch over and over again.

If you enjoyed Lord of the Rings then you have to love the Hobbit! This movie, although not my favorite of the trilogy, was very well done and gave an epic ending to an epic series.

The movie DVD completes my collectionof the series, Best Buy is the one place that I buy all of my movies whenever I buy one. New or Past DBDs. Once again best buy and right price .

This final Hobbit film is what it is- serviceable, although I laughed or eye-rolled more than once when I don't think I was supposed to. It's difficult to wring enough material for three giant films out of one children's book. The disc has great extras and technical quality.

My kids and I watched the bluray version and we enjoyed the "ending" to the story. It isn't entirely happy, so if you watch with little ones, be aware. The effects were spectacular.

An excellent conclusion to Peter Jackson's Hobbit trilogy. Lots of extras that will take hours of viewing to complete. A very fitting end to Jackson's films about Middle Earth.

This movie is the final chapter of the Hobbit Series, It is a touch on the long side at 2 hours 25 minutes. Very action packed the last hour or so. CGI in most parts is pretty good.

State of the art CGI, well integrated into the movie. A bit weaker on character development. Overall, an excellent film. Wrapup of the series that did answer most pending questions.

This movie is an epic, instant classic. The battle scene graphics are extremely realistic - you can almost FEEL the action! I recommend it for anyone who enjoys the adventure genre.

There isn't anything to complain about honestly! If you are a LOTR fan and have now followed The Hobbit trilogy, The Battle of the Five Armies is a great addition to you collection.
