Peter Jackson does a fantastic job of picking up exactly where "The Desolation of Smoag" leaves off and rockets you into the film with an intense opening scene. Beyond that, the film is well done and entertaining. There's plenty of action, and it's an effective telling of J RR Tolkien's tale.

The movie itself is so-so. Personally feel the Hobbit trilogy would've been best served being presented as just a pair of movies, but there is still some enjoyment to be found here for LOTR/Hobbit fans. The packaging is a nice touch and a welcome addition to any blu-ray steelbook collection.

The movie was a nice addition to the LOTR trilogy. Albeit this story is not in the books the Mr. Tolkien it is a great story nonetheless. The visuals and sound effects are amazing!

Good movie. It's all about the finish of this great epic series. It's my least favorite of all the movies But it's done great, really good battle scenes to put a bow on everything.

This was a great conclusion to the Hobbit Trilogy. The battle scenes were great and the movie moved at a great pace. Always been a fan of the Hobbit novel.

The hobbit series was good but from what i have seen the battle of the five armies extended is almost a totally different movie than the theatrical version. Much more insight and info is given to the viewer which was not the case for the second movie in the trilogy desolation of smaug.

Great movie, and good price was happy to finally finish the collection. Also the extended addition had a lot of bonus material that really made a positive difference.

The Hobbit Battle of the Five Armies looks amazing in UHD! Loved the story, sorry for the ending and it preps the viewer and prompts them to see The Hobbit Trilogy all over again!

The epic conclusion of the Hobbit story leading up to the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Catching up to our characters as they continue their quest to reclaim the Lonely Mountain.

This is a great movie to own. With this extended version, even more to see. The additional discs with the behind the scenes are great, and are fascinating to watch.

While it doesn't follow the book accurately, they did a great job building up charachters we would want to watch. The graphics were great and who can't love the cast!

If you're a true Tolkien fan, you'll still love the extended edition of this. It fits wonderfully no matter what the other die-hard fans say. Watch it and judge for yourself!

The final chapter in the prequil. I am not sure if it felt wrapped up but maybe when they bring out all the movies as a box set extended versions it will be a better presentation.

This movie is the third installment of the Hobbit series. It follows Bilbo Baggins through the final battle and his arrival back home only to find his stuff being sold at auction.

The battle of five armies was probably my most favorite hobbit movie out of all of them. I liked the way all five armies came together and fought. Intense and cool looking action.

This movie is very entertaining. It is the last of the Hobbit trilogy, and I think it is just as good as the other two. It has a lot of action, and it end up the movie nicely

After watching the first two in the Hobbit series, I had to see the third in the series. It did not disappoint me at all. I think that it was great and would highly recommend it.

I absolutely love this movie...it is totally immersive and visually stunning. The battle scene is just undeniably F@#$%^&* EPIC!!! If you are a true fan you must own this movie.

This was indeed a great conclusion to excellent series....and the extras lived up to the others as well. (One can only hope Peter Jackson is persuaded to do the Silmarillion.
