I watched BOTFA in theaters so I already know how awesome the film is, but the Blu-Ray DVD combo that I bought is just as great! And it was cheaper at Best Buy than anywhere else!

All Hobbit films end and these series end too! I loved the way this was done even the battle scenes and the additional 24 minutes of footage to make the story flow and work!

I've always been a fan of this series, and this latest release is no exception. Especially with the visual effects in HD, this movie really brings this classic book series alive.

Great overall movie for the whole family to see. Good story plot with eye catching visual effects. Sound effects were out of this world! Loved this movie and the whole series!

I chose to buy this movie at Best buy because the steel case was a Best Buy exclusive offer at the same price as other stores had the same package (- the collectable steel case).

I waited for th9is to come out just to see how it would end. The only thing that got semi tedious was the never ending fight scenes I think they could have been edited a bit more

This has been a great series of movies. The 3d effects make it all the more enjoyable. My wife and I have enjoyed these movies, and look forward to watching them again and again.

The HOBBIT and LOTR movies are just so much fun to watch. So well made. This movie is just as good as the rest. Kind of sad that it is the last. You won't be disappointed!

If you liked The Lord of the Rings trilogy & the first 2 The Hobbit movies, then you have to pick this up. After the way the 2nd movie ended, you can't not watch this 3rd movie.

An emotional & action-packed ending to The Hobbit Trilogy. The cast is truly fantastic & it was a great way for Peter Jackson to end his Tolkien movie odyssey. A must-own movie!

As stated I think they short changed the last movie. Without giving it away to those who waited for the dvd release, I expected a battle attuned to be more like LOTR's battles but feel they failed. Scenery beautiful as New Zealand is a jewel. Watch it on Redbox and if you like it buy it.

we've followed the trilogy and really enjoyed this one. Although I was a little upset over some turn of events but it's a movie and well everything can't always go as planned.

lots of violence in the sequel but if you know the background of the movies and writer, it makes sense. Leaves me feeling a little disappointed in the ending.

The story line basically ended the chapters for the "Hobbit" series and started the "Lord of the Rings" series. It gave me a better understanding of the whole series of movies.

I hope Peter Jackson or another competent Director can find a reason to keep this franchise alive. These movies are EPIC!!! Cinematic & Fantastical genious...LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

I was a little iffy about this series when it started, excited but iffy. However, it was well done and the conclusion was a good mix of everything. Definitely, worth watching.

it was a great movie i watched it twice and would watch it again. i was upset about the ending but that is the way the movie works. it should have had a better ending.

the movie is long. Not much longer than the last 5 but the action keeps the movie flowing. The time went by fast and my daughter didn't fig-it. That means a lot in a movie..
