I am I believe in a rare group of folks who do enjoy a good 3D movie. Perhaps it's the particular TV and player - but they generally are excellent. This is no exception.

This was a well done and fitting close to the Hobbit trilogy. I reread the book after 30 years and saw how much of the book was in the movie. The effects are amazing.

Having seen all of the episodes at the cinema, it was still better to view at home. Extra features were a bonus. I recommend this to anyone who is a fan of the Hobbits.

I love going there for electronics because the staff really knows what their selling. They know their material, and they know all the right answers to anything. Thank you

I love this final movie in the hobbit collection and how they tie the end to the beginning of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy! (hope that isn't a spoiler for anyone).

Cable channels were playing 2 of the 3 movies in the series... so I went out and bought the 3rd. It's a blu-ray disk. It's a movie. It played. We enjoyed it.

As this was Peter Jackson's last foray into the world of Middle Earth, I could not pass up adding it to my collection. It is a decent action/adventure movie, even if it deviates considerably from the source material. If you are a fan of PJ's LOTR's movies, don't miss this one.

Finally!!! My Hobbit collection is complete! Loved the books. The movies "The Lord of the Rings" and now "The Hobbit" very closely adhere to the books. Love the movies!

I LOVED the LOTR Trilogy. I was really looking forward to the Hobbit Trilogy. I knew fairly early that this one would not measure up (for me) to the LOTR, but I wanted to see it through and thought that it might redeem itself by the end. Battle of the Five Armies was the weakest entry in any of the series and a disappointing entry in a disappointing trilogy. I bought the first one, felt like I had to buy the second one and REALLY didn't want to have an incomplete set by not buying the third one. I was wrong and I wished that I hadn't purchased it. I might watch this trilogy one more time ever, whereas I look forward to watching the LOTR trilogy many more times.Don't NOT watch this movie because of this review, but don't feel like you have to purchase the movie.

Five Armies is a good movie that doesn't reach the bar set by the Lord of the Ring trilogy. The story is stretched out a bit to make this movie and the other two in the Hobitt trilogy. With that being said this is still a must have for any one who enjoys the Rings stories.

The final in the Hobbit series was fantastic. It was the best in the three movies. It keeps you on the edge and touches your heart in regards to friendship and sacrifice.

Tolkien fans will enjoy this, however the length of the film is still pretty long to get all but true fans to sit through. So as much as I love the movie, I suspect I'll have to watch it alone most of the time. It's too bad so much was added beyond what was in the original tale.

The 3D effects in this movie can't be beat except maybe by the other two movies in the trilogy. Watch with a big big big bowl of popcorn with the family.

Within the context of the trilogy, the movie was the crescendo and, similar to the "Return of the King", felt a bit rushed towards the end but overall was a great movie.

Movie was full of excitement. Was very surprised with the journey of some of the characters. It was fun to see some of the characters mentioned in the lord of the rings.

Regardless of the obstacles that may manifest themselves, a true hero must come face to face first with his own personal faults before he can deal any devestating blows.

Great movie, great ending to the end of an era. Completed the story of the Hobbit and gave us a wonderful view of middle earth. Was a deserving finish to an epic story.

I purchased all the hobbit movies along with The Lord of The Rings series. Getting ready for a weekend binge session on our new 65" tv and surround sound.
