this is a pretty good way to end the series if I say so myself. Lots of action. Peter Jackson did a fantastic job here. Not as drawn out as the others it seems.

Got this while it was on sale for 15! Great price for a great movie. If you haven't watched the hobbit series yet then do so right away, you don't regret it.

Yes, The Hobbit movies deviate from the book but I still enjoyed this movie trilogy quite a bit. This final installment has the best pacing out of the three.

this finale take the whole trilogy to an awesome climax. epic fight scenes with all the emotions involved. kudos to Peter Jackson on another successful trilogy.

What can I say, that you don't already know... have loved the book since I was a kid, and they did a great job of translating it into a trilogy. Go buy it. Now.

It's the last in the series not as good as LOTR sure but if you have the rest why wouldn't you own this one too? It's BluRay 3D you know the deal buy it already

Another great movie. The 3D is spectacular as usual. The scenery was fantastic. There was more action/fighting than the others. A must see movie to the sequel.

I've read a lot of the criticism regarding this movie and went in with a bit of skepticism, but I really enjoyed this movie. Given this is the last foray into Middle Earth - I do wish there was a better farewell being we will never see anymore of these movies again.

This movie was a perfect ending to the trilogy the hobbit. My daughter and I enjoyed watching this movie together.it is a great family movie. Many funny parts.

The 3D on this movie is better than most. I would give it 4/5 stars. Visual is very crisp and clear and it's a definite 5/5 with the audio getting 5/5 as well.

What is left to be said for this awesome franchise! Oh yeah, It looks amazing in 3-D! Fantastic release by Warner Bros.! Do not hesitate to pick up this title.

We are so happy to finally have the entire series in extended 3D!! The extended versions always have great extra scenes and the 3D is beautiful on our tv.

I really liked the director's cut, they added a lot to the big battle at the end. I don't why they didn't put some of this stuff in the theatrical version.

The completionist in me forced me to get this. I have the first two and didn't love them --though I did like two more than one--so I figured I'd get this too. My children want to see it and it's fair less intense at home than in the theater. Much of the criticism of the first two Hobbit films can be made here as well: it looks like a painting, the effects are incredible and it goes on way, way too long. I enjoy owning films like this, particularly in this format, so that my children and I can "skip around" to watch the parts we really want to see (i.e. the dragon death, etc) over and over again. The Blu-ray itself is beautiful. I haven't checked out the extra features on this one yet, but I'm sure they're as good as all the rest.

The town second in command is almost as annoying as Jar Jar but the movie is good. Not the best of the series but good. They seemed to pay homage to the old 70s rotogravure with the appearance of the nine. Not sure I liked the inconsistency with the Rings versions.

My family really enjoyed this movie! Yes, a lot of liberties were taken with the story but I decided to watch to movie for what it was and not worry about the differences between the movie and the book which is one of my favorites. We have already watched it twice!

I love this movie and only wish I could have gotten it in the Steelbook that Best Buy had. oh well, maybe I should have looked sooner and bought it in advance.

The movie is great! We visited New Zealand for our honeymoon and were able to walk through Hobbiton as well as see other areas where the movie was filmed.

The Hobitt is a great trilogy and this ending chapter is as good as any of them. The 3D is stunning and the digital audio track is superb! Worth the price.
