This movie has all of the action in it that the other two lacked. I liked the first two but this one wraps it all up nicely. The whole series is a bit long for it to be based on such a small book but they are fun to watch nonetheless.

Great adaptation from the book to the movie... Except when they forced the tieing in together the lord of the rings trilogy at the very end.

The final movie in the series did not fail to impress. Tied everything up. Must say I shed more than one tear though.

I admit I have been hooked on Hobbit series. I guess I've worn out the original collection. These DVDs are even better.

Love the hobbit and love the steel book one of the best parts of the steel book is the cinema now code so you can't watch the digital early.

we sat down and watched all the hobbit movies and we thought that they were fantastic. They had a lot of action and the storyline was great.

Using rewards points for a movie that I loved in theatrical release to purchase the DVD was a no-brainer. Good movie at a competitive price.

i like the battle scenes and i like how the CGI looks in this movie . If like the hobbit movies or Loes dothe rings movies you will like it.

another great movie by Peter Jackson, a must see to the follow up to the other trilogy movies

Good ending for the Hobbit films. I prefer the first Hobbit movie over this one but this isn't too far behind. Closes out the trilogy well. Really enjoyable in 3D and the final battle is epic to say the least.

The extended footage really helped with some character development, especially with the dwarves. Picture quality is pretty spot on too.

amazing CG scenes; the story is great (when they decided to stick with it), less so when the movie ad-libs to fill out the screen time.

This movie ends where the last left off and starts right at the beginning of the lord of the rings. This one in the series was so easy to watch and had me on the edge of my seat wanting more. I would recommend this to anyone who is a fan.

If you enjoy watching movies in 3D, this one is a good one to watch. Picture and sound matches the quality of being at the actual theater.
