Loved the LOTR and wasn’t disappointed with the hobbit series!

If you're a Tolkien fan, there is no reason not to own these movies. Yes, Jackson makes some debatable choices, but it's still fantastic.

As a child my dad and I read the Hobbit many many times. Although the story is very different in the movies than in the book, I still enjoyed it and would recommend it to others. Fun movie, Product was good and had good bonus features.

Overall the movie was very entertaining. Plot was well written and the ending was prefect way to see what will happen in the other trilogy.

Excellent trilogy, I loved them all. This final film was the best of all three to me, it just brought it all together and made it complete.

I love the ability to have blue ray for the theater tv but also the ability to have a dvd version to watch somewhere else. Great value too!

This was by far my favorite of all of the Hobbit or Lord of the Rings movies. I could, and probably will, watch it over, and over and over!

The final installment of The Hobbit trilogy on Blu-ray is exciting and beautiful. Easy to find at a Best Buy store. Great value on a movie.

Although three movies is a bit too long for the Hobbit, the movies are enjoyable. The final installment is enjoyable and satisfying. The battle scenes are a bit long, but true to Tolkien's vision and Jackson's consistent storytelling.

Picture and sound quality is top notch and of course a plethora of extras make this a perfect home edition to a terrific fantasy film.

A fantastic conclusion to an excellent trilogy. Peter Jackson did a great job at capturing the J.R.R. Tolkien essence of Middle Earth.

This is the best movie of the trilogy and it is always worth it to wait for the extended version!! Wish the Hobbit didn't have to end.

Since getting new TV, it's hard to get me away from infront of the set. Love waching 3D movies & sports. Smart TV programs work very well.

Excellent movie on DVD. Not only did my son & husband watch it at our house but sent it to another family members house for them to watch.

great way to end the series; i thought this as the best of the hobbit movies, still not as good at LOTR but well worth owning them all.

I enjoyed this movie. I watched it in the theater and purchased it to complete my Hobbit collection on Blu Ray. It can be a little long winded in some parts, but the battle scenes are epic, especially the final battle. I recommend.

LOTR was a better trilogy but this one was pretty good too. the added scenes help flesh out some of the story. worth the purchase.

I plan to purchase a 3d tv later this year, so I can't comment on the 3d disc. The 2d blu ray features excellent video and audio quality.

The whole family are crazy about The Hobbit series. We looked forward to each of them and have enjoyed watching them over and rover again.

My family are huge fans of the Hobbit and LOTR series. This set at $26.00 is a bargain! We will be sure to watch this movie over and over!
