This movie gets right to the action and doesn't get bogged down with all the talking of the last installment. Awesome flick.

The Battle of 5 Armies, while not completely faithful to the book, is a well made, action packed movie from start to finish.

When I saw this movie in theaters, I knew I had to buy this copy. I even bought one for my younger sister for Christmas. Best Buy always has the latest DVD releases and store pickup is one of my favorite options!

This is a wonderful addition to my DVD collection, great movie, awesome special effects, and keeping with Tolkiens vision.

The story continues for the Hobbit fans with a good story and a lot more battling then the other movies. The special effects are great and the 3D on my LG TV was worth watching it to be brought into the story deeper.

I am not a huge Lord of the Rings fan so to me it's just good! To my kids who love Lord of the Rings they are Awesome!!

This final movie is the best of the Hobbit series, with great balance between story-telling, CGI and character development.

Good movie. Glad to see a good video selection available at the store. Too many stores now carry on a minimum of titles.

Although I believe the first movie was the best of the trilogy, this final tied up the ending well. I am looking forward to an extended bonus compilation of the entire The Hobbit series, as with the Lord of the Rings.

So what was a relatively short book got broken in to 3 movies! A bit over kill, but as a fan of the book and Peter Jackson I can't be too angry. If you've come along for the ride up til now, you won't be disappointed.

I have been wanting to purchase this movie for a while and found the best price and version at Best Buy.

I enjoyed the movie regardless of the length. Theatrical edition is fine for me with no desire for an extended edition.

awesome movie!! the negative nancy, dwarf king made some parts of the movie difficult to watch. other than that, awesome!

Loved this movie, and I really love my DVD!!! I will probably end up purchasing the extended edition as well, but oh well.

The extended version filled in the blanks of the movie version and showed the transition from one scene to the next.

Was a very good movie the 3d version was great also. I highly recommend it if you are a big lord of the rings fan as I am.
