There are some problems here. The story suffers some under the weight of being blown up across 3 long movies. The title character's story gets lost a bit with the innumerable sub-plots. There are questions that are not clearly answered: Exactly who are the 5 armies? Plus, as with any prequel, there is a certain lack of tension: You already many key characters are going to live... However, with all of that said, Tolkien's Middle Earth is beautifully realized by Jackson as always. Plus Freeman, McKellen, and Armitage deliver standout performances.

The special effects are awesome. With surround sound and blue ray it was like watching in the movies.

These Hobbit movies are great! It is a must to add to your collection; don't forget about the prior 2.

This movie which may differ quite heavily from the book is great in that it adds extra depth. Some of the added aspects tend to be to much yet they are fun to see nonetheless.

This is an outstanding movie depicting the epic ending to one of the greatest books ever written!

The movie is ok its not amazing its a bit convoluted but the steel book is awesome highly recommended.

Having watched the extended versions of the previous Hobbit and LOTR movies, I highly recommend the extended version over the theatrical version as the storyline is much more complete.

The Hobbit is overlong and the fight scenes are pretty absurd, but the film is quite entertaining.

We now have all 3 Hobbit extended edition movies. All at an excellent price.

This is the end, of such a phenomenal series. Peter Jackson outdid himself in my opinion and the bonus features is a wonderful addition.
