I'm a big fan of these movies, loved them and lord of the rings

I wanted to "complete" my collection of The Hobbit/Lord Of The Rings movies. This will do it for me. I thought there might be a booklet included, but this was not the case.

My review of this item is about the packaging. The packaging is nice, but not worth the cost unless you are a steelbook collector.

A fine follow up to Lord Of The Rings. Story was noticeably stretched to make it into 3 movies, but is good fun anyway.

Don't listen to the poeple who will say wait for the extended version to come out. Not worth it for this trilogy.

The boxed set is a wonderful addition to the original three films! Great action, sound, and acting! Love it!

The Hobbit trilogy was good, but it suffered from bad spacing. Smaug should have been finished in the second movie. There was no need to keep reminding me about the future menace of Sauron instead of fleshing out the hobbit story. I prefer the Hobbit over the Lord of the Rings in print but it's reverse with the movies.

This order is strictly an online only order and I had to return it to the store due to damage to the actual tin housing. It had been crushed during shipping. They don't carry this metal housing in stores at all so I had to purchase the other version. This was a gift for my Father who is a huge fan of the series. This may not happen to you but I wouldn't have this shipped to my home. I would pick it up at a store.
