The Hobbit blu ray set, what else is there to say.

My kid loves it, he is a true lord of the rings fan

If you enjoyed the amazing storytelling of the incredible Lord of the Rings Trilogy, then you’ll also enjoy The Hobbit Trilogy in Blu Ray! The Hobbit Trilogy is a fine prequel to The Lord of the Rings and allows the viewer to spend more magical time in Middle Earth! I read some reviews that were fairly critical of the Hobbit Trilogy, but I enjoyed those three movies almost as much as The Lord of the Rings. I bought the Hobbit Trilogy at a huge discount and along with the quality of the movies I felt like my purchase was great!

Never seen them and wanted to so it was a good price for all 3 of them. Movies about people walking for a long time

I was pleasantly surprised that it had 3 extra discs with fascinating extra info regarding the movie.

A must have for a welcome movie experience! I had to upgrade my DVDs collection of the Lord of the Rings trilogy due to my DVDs skipping or stopping during watching. I take great care but apparently viewing them I suppose degrading happens. I can't live without watching this trilogy when I want so upgrading is worth it and the price.

Makes watching the trilogy easy having all movies together.

Amazing story told in great detail over 3 epic expansive movies. Not quite as great a story and characters as the Lord of Ring saga but right there, tied together from the incredible books. Hard to do much better in movie format at covering a lot of details and ground of an in depth story such as this.

Excellent series, owning this trilogy is a must for a medieval-fantasy fan. Tolkien sold the rights to the LOTR and The Hobbit many years ago allowing the motion picture industry to make these movies. All six films follow the books as much as possible but obviously need to add much more to make them popular.

Nice collection for this trilogy. The video quality is very good, some of the extra content is duplicated but no big deal. If you are a LOTR fan and do not have the Hobbit, I feel it is worth the $$$ to get this. It is also available on 4K for more $$$. Get it, enjoy it!

There are very few movies that end up being better than the book they are based on. The hobbit book, which I have always found to be boring and hard to make it through is so much better in this movie form. Credit Jackson and Co., I suppose, but the hobbit movie series is a fun couple of evening in front of your TV.

Excellent movie series for most people. Has some violence and scary creatures, but for 10 years and up I would say it is a great pick! Can't go wrong as a gift for people who like adventure films! It is a classic!

This is a great trilogy! My children and I watched these during the stay-at-home orders during the pandemic, and it created a great escape for us from the troubles of the world. Love LOTR and love the Hobbit!

Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) lives a simple life with his fellow hobbits in the shire, until the wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen) arrives and convinces him to join a group of dwarves on a quest to reclaim the kingdom of Erebor. The journey takes Bilbo on a path through treacherous lands swarming with orcs, goblins and other dangers, not the least of which is an encounter with Gollum (Andy Serkis) and a simple gold ring that is tied to the fate of Middle Earth in ways Bilbo cannot even fathom.

Great trilogy. Peter Jackson is a brilliant director. The first one is a little slow paced at first but it picks up. It's one arc throughout all three do the story really takes off in the second title.

Well, after getting the Lord of the Rings trilogy, I had to finish off my collection by getting the story of Bilbo! The Hobbit trilogy is just as fantastic as the Lord if the Rings trilogy. Get this too!

Love this trilogy. I remember reading the book several times as a kid. The movie brought back those memories. Film and footage is fantastic. I own the Lord of the rings blu-ray set as well.

This Blu-Ray set is great, each movie has its own disk for special features. So 6 discs in total. Awesome for those who love behind the scenes!
