great for a kids movie night. it is a great movie.

Like many Redford movies such as A River Runs Through It, the cinematography is beautiful. Good acting, action is realistic and the story behind the reality of training people with horse problems is about Buck, a genuine Horse Whisperer who taught the actors his craft. There are disasters in our lives and answers - this movie disturbed some people since injured horses are more loved than intergalactic robots needing a tune-up. Kristin Scott Thomas is superb as is a young Scarlett Johansson.

Tastefully directed by Robert Redford, this movie showcases a really cute horse who goes through a traumatic accident with his rider and is almost put down but for the tenacity and love of the girl's mother who beings the horse to Montana for rehabilitation. It will make you cry. The cinematography is beautiful and I especially like the relationship between the horse trainer and the horse, Pilgrim.

Excellent film about a young girl and her horse, both physically and emotionally injured in an accident and their eventual healing through a horse whisperer. Very touching film which I highly recommend.
