Classic noir-style film with a nice twist. Plot had me engaged the entire time and it was a bit refreshing to see a film that was made in this style. Overall. very happy with this purchase and the quality of the picture/sound. I would definitely recommend you check this one out!

"The Hot Spot" is a great neo-noir film (directed by the late Dennis Hopper) from 1990. "The Hot Spot" stars Don Johnson, Virginia Madsen, and Jennifer Connelly. Expect plenty of sex and nudity, as well as a very hard-boiled noir story--using many classical film noir elements. Don Johnson is a drifter who blows into a small Texas town and quickly gets embroiled in sexy shenanigans with his bosses wife and the girl who handles the accounts at the business. Bank robbery, blackmail, and murder follow.

Underrated classic Don Johnson! Great blu ray release from Kino Lorber. A definite improvement in PQ from the new 2K scan.
