I have always been a fan of the light-gun, arcade-style, video games, and this is certainly no exception. With two great games on one disc, two player mode, arcade mode, classic mode, time attack, and a host of upgrades....what's not to like? As I stated in the what's not so great, the game can be difficult, BUT, the more you play, the more extras you unlock. For instance, you'll eventually be able to unlock additional lives, continues, weapon upgrades, and so on. This game will bring back fond memories of pumping endless amounts of quarters to see what happens next, and has the ability to create new ones for new fans. This game is a blast in 2 player mode; I've brought it out at a lot of parties/gatherings. Get it...kill zombies...be happy. What more could you ask for? P.S. For those of you worried about Wii Remote accuracy, the calibration test in the options screen ensures that your aim will be right on. Also, there is an on-screen cross-hair (which can be changed or removed) in case your aim is not that great. Finally, I like using the Wii Zapper while playing, but it's not necessary. Good mindless zombie killing fun! I'd reccomend getting Nyko's Perfect Shot pistol accessory for a more arcade feel, but you'll still have to rely on crosshairs to aim. Lots of blood flying around, but you can turn down the gore factor in the options. You have to earn the unlimited credits option and you can always grab a spare Wii-mote and get that good ol' double fisted lead slingin' feel of the arcades. An online scoreboard would have been fun, but oh well. Good value at the release price, after a price drop would be even better!!

If you love the arcade shooters, this is the game for you....the graphics aren't breathtaking, not that any wii game is, and neither were the arcade shooters...recommend the pistol if you are going to use a gun, the wii zapper is uncomfortable...the aiming is accurate...there are also many different gameplay modes, so boredom won't be an issue...

I have this game on my pc and xbox, graphics are descent on the wii. I find it hard to aim and reload fast enough to be effective during gameplay.I really miss auto reload.

This is a great game for fans of Aracde style "on-rails" shooters. The two games included are older so don't expect to be blown away by the visuals, but expect difficult exciting shooting action! As you play the games there are multiple branching levels, and tons of unlockable items to help make the game easier as your skills improve. That said, the games are Arcade ports so they are straightforward and not as deep as a game like Umbrella Chronicles. I prefer the simple - jump in and play style of this game, but be aware of your own preferences. The Wii provides a great lightgun experience, and House of Dead proves it.

This is a great game, it is very responsive and fun to play with one or two players. I would recommend getting the wii gun(s)

I got this game to enjoy with friends and it lives up to the days in the arcade with friends. It is enjoyable to just sit down with a friend for 40-60 minutes and just blast away zombies. I recommend this for anyone who loves the old arcade games and just wants to have fun with some friends.

As a mother of 4 toddlers, I finally found a fun but educational game to help stimulate their growing brains. Since this is such an important developmental stage, it is important to expose them to such positive influences. At the same time, I can play this game without worrying about my kids experiencing blood, gore, and violence that is a commonplace in todays videogames.

If you remember playing House of the Dead in the Arcade, this isn't much different. The graphics haven't been updated for the Wii, and it shows (especially in House of the Dead 2). That said, this is still a good rail shooter with plenty of difficulty to last any House of the Dead Fan. While still fun in single player mode, this game begs to be played by two. It's a little frustrating to be unable to put in more "credits," until you unlock the unlimited credits, but this game is still as fun as it was back in the 90's.

For the price tag it's definetly worth picking up if you are a HOD fan. It brings back all the cheesy lines and great gameplay you remember from the arcade.

This classic arcade game is a great game brought to the Wii's innovative abilities. It is fun with or without the Wii blaster (separate). Challenging game!!

This game is amazing! It's like having the arcade game in your house without plugging in tons of quarters to keep playing. I bought this for my husband for Christmas and he loves it! The best part is I love it too! Hours of zombie killin fun!

I wanted to buy the real Arcade game HOD. The Wii saved me about $1000. I love this game, it is just like the arcade at home. I have told about ten of my friends to get and they did. I say to anyone GET this game worth every cent.

I got this game a couple of days ago and as soon as i started playing it i didn't want to stop. It is a very fun and addictive game.

Everyone LOVES shooting zombies! My friends and I spent a fortune playing this game at Dave and Buster's until I bought it for my Wii. It's so EASY! Some of the nastiest monsters are challenging to kill, but it is all great fun. Graphics are pretty two-dimentional and it's about time for a new, improved version of this game. (Check Dave and Busters for House of the Dead 4...WOW! I can't wait for the next generation Wii game) I'd give this game 4.5 stars and I've recommended it to several of my friends.

All out assault on the undead!!! Just when you think its over, you find your self re-loading for the next bus load of Zombies!

Everything you remember from the arcade originals. Good game to have in the collection. I would not rate it one of the best I've played, as I was never a big fan of the arcade game. Worth buying for the price.

I first rented this game and it was so much fun... its just like being in the arcade except you get to save your quarters... It's a good classic game, and it's a a great price, the only thing that sucks is that you get stuck listening to the story line alot from continuously playing. I recommend this game. it fun!!!

playing this game made me feel like i was in the arcade just more comfortable.this game is not only a good shooting game but it brings back old memories for old arcaders who forgot the game
