An earlier Joe Dante movie it has its flaws but it's still provides solid entertainment I wish the steelbook had a booklet or something inside though it's just empty but it's all good (just a word of advice don't throw acid in a werewolf's face that's not gonna stop it)

A Howling good deal, picked this up for 12.99!!! Also picked up the last one, hope this BB continues to sell movies, a lot are opting out of them.

Can a low budget movie from the 80s look good? Yes but keep in mind this is not the latest Marvel blockbuster. If you are a fan, buy this for the extras alone.

This movie is a good take in the werewolf lore. The 4K transfer was pretty good as well. I haven’t seen this movie in years, but it still holds its own today. I still wish the ending would’ve been a a little better, but at least we can own this classic in 4K.

A defining movie for the 80's that is not a slasher flick! This movie sets the standard for a modern Werewolf movie! I'm proud to have this in my collection!

Joe dante is one of my favorite directors. This is one of the best werewolf films to date. And in a genre with a lot of bad films it definitely shines. And the ending is a killer like no one has ever done. As always shout factory makes an excellent product.

This movie hasn’t looked any better. The special effects may be dated by today’s standards, but it is still a blast to watch. Although the story is a fairly simple formula, it still entertains. Really nice transfer with clear audio. The special features give more insight to the story’s origin and how it eventually came together and how the first film spawned several sequels afterwards.

A great classic werewolf movie, if not the best besides An American Werewolf in London. This movie has the classic themes of the old werewolf movies and the acting is great. Dee Wallace is fantastic! So is the rest of the cast! A great horror movie!

Shout Factory always does great with their transfers and The Howling is no exception. The film looks phenomenal and the added bonus features are fun

This is one of my favorite horror movies and the 4K upgrade is well worthwhile. Creative writing makes it even better

Good movie all around. The best of the series At least this screamfactory disc wasn't greasy like most new 4k discs these days

The Howling series went on and on and on...until the Howling 7 was so bad it killed franchise. Though it all goes back to the first one, Joe Dante's early film, and thankfully companies like Scream Factory give films like this the due that a normal studio wouldn't in this age of streaming taking precedence (quantity over quality!) over physical media.
