The movie never gets old for me. Entertaining with a ton of nods to past movies of the genre. My favorite werewolf design of all time. You can skip the sequels. This one is as good as it gets. And the Scream Factory special treatment to boot.

The picture quality is amazing. I also owned the bluray copy. It looked really good but the 4k transfer blows it away.

If you are into horror this was done really well in 4k a cult classic indeed i remember seeing this in theaters when it first came out.

Between this an American Werewolf, is arguable which had the better werewolf transformation. But Joe Dantes The Howling is still creepy and effective all these years later. Highlighted also with the amazing the creature effects by Rob Bottin.

This is a fantastic werewolf story. The work that was done on the print itself is much appreciated and the film has never looked better than it does here on this Blu-ray disc. The story is terrific and terrifying, the acting is solid, and this is really as good as non-cgi effects get.

I saw this when I was a kid in the 80's and it was amazing and shocking to see the mum and dad from the new Lassie show in a gruesome horror flick. next to An American Werewolf in London this film has and had the best werewolf effects.

A great werewolf movie from the past that many of us remember when it first came out. It set up a series of these Howling movies for a while to come. Very cool on 4K and great imaging for an older pre-CGI movie.

This is one of the best werewolf movies ever made. The only one better is an American werewolf in London.

Picked this up for a great price. 4K transfer isn’t bad. Movie is pretty good. Always enjoyed the ending.

The inclusion of the original mono audio mix makes this the best home media release of the film.

4k quality is excellent for a movie this old. I didn't notice any dirt or specs in image. Worth the upgrade if you like the movie

The HOwling looks like it was made today. This classic werewolf movie just rocks and makes the special effects even better.

The Howling (1981) is a fun werewolf movie. The werewolf effects are great and a good performance by Dee Wallace, makes this a film that I like to revisit each fall. There are a few creepy moments, but it really works as a great black comedy for me. I would definitely recommend this release to any fan of the horror genre.

One of the classic werewolf movies. High definition is ok but this is a 1981 movie. Surround sound hugh improvements.

Purchased The Howling 4k Blu Ray. This is a great addition to your collection of 80s horror movies.

This horror classic is the best it’s ever looked. If you like the movie I recommend getting this 4K copy!!!

Many consider American Werewolf in London to be the better film, but I actually prefer this film. The transfer is top notch.
