This movie starts slowly with tragedy and finishes with positivity. The characters feel real and have a way of gaining your trust as you watch. You can't help but cheer for them at the end.

I love every nuance of every Helen Mirren film that I have seen and this one does not disappoint. the movie has a delightful supporting cast and while the story is sometimes a little too convenient it really is touching. I love food and I have to say that the cinematography surrounding the courses in this meal is mouth watering.

If you like to see the little guy win, this is for you. A great feel good movie. It is clean & could be watched as a family without the concern for language or other moral issues.

This was not a highly promoted film, but I am very happy that I found this DVD. Helen Mirren is a gem to watch.

What else can I say, but this is a great movie. Saw it in the theater and loved it and had to own the Blu-Ray to keep in my collection. Highly recommended.

thoroughly enjoyed this film, a big fan of Helen Miren, a gem of an actress no matter what role she plays. The photography of the region was an added plus.

Very good movie about a chef from India working with a French chef to earn second and third Michelin stars. Good mix of personal growth and romance.

Loved this movie. Fun, entertaining and it made me want to eat more Indian food. Wish that there was smell-o-vision to smell the yummy foods they made.
