This one has it all: Future! Past! Politics! Left! Right? And, Woody Harrelson :) But, I liked Winter's Bone much better.

Like all epic novels the movie falls far short of the book. If you want to read the novels do so before watching the movies.

What a bizarre message given in this movie, to have the poor sacrificed for the entertainment of the rich. Killing to win a prize was pathetic. And what happened to loyalty? Obviously the main character had no loyalty for the beau she left behind to take care of her family. The movie industry can do better to uplift us, make us better people, and not help us to destroy ourselves.

This was a good movie, it’s the first movie in the series and maybe one of the better ones

I thought this was going to be terrible, like Twighlight-terrible. I was mistaken. My wife got to say: "I told you so."
