I bought this movie for my girl friend she loves this series. I watched it and must say that the movie was really teally good. The plot was great. The scenes were good. The blu ray version has an awesome picture. It was a great buy.

Keeps the thrill and challenges of the original alive and going, The heroine is still the heroine and the bad guy is even badder. Good twists and turns and visually exciting. Even if you have read the book you will enjoy this movie.

I didn't catch this movie in the theater's so I took a risk buying it without ever seeing it. It follows the book pretty well, and really moves the plot along. Look forward to the next 2 movies (they are splitting up the last book).

I'm one of those "The Book Was Better Than The Movie" girls, but this adaptation was pretty good. As with all movies based on books, they can't get everything in, but they hit the highlights. Can't wait for Mocking Jay Part 2!

The movie was excellent. I loved everything about it including the actors, the graphics, the timeline, the theme, characters and plot. I cannot wait for the next movie in the series to come to the theaters. My whole family loves it!

I got a great deal buying this DVD when it came out at best buy! By using my best buy points I was able to get the combo pack DVD set for less then twenty dollars. I recommend it for anyone who is looking for a good movie to watch!

I loved the Hunger Games books, and this movie does a pretty good job of bringing it to life. The actors are well cast, and the visuals are spectacular. It does contain scenes of violence and may be too intense for younger viewers.

If you enjoyed the first movie, you'll enjoy this follow up. There're lots of action and plot twist which will keep you entertained throughout the duration of the entire movie and hoping for the next iteration to show up soon.

Catching Fire is my favorite of the HG series and this movie does not disappoint. It was exactly how I had always imagined the book. The ending leaves you even more excited for the next movie and I definitely can't wait to see it.

I was rather late on watching any of the movies. I saw the very last one in the theater and liked it. So, I decided to purchase the previous movies out of curiosity. Very entertaining and I do not regret my purchase.

This is a great sequel to the first movie. There was lots of action and it seemed to follow the book more or less. It set up the two part conclusion to the series. It ended suddenly making me want the other movies to come out soon.

This movie was great even though it was a sequel. It has some great twists and turns that are not expected if you have not read the book. Makes a good leaf into the third movie and get some clues at what will happen moving forward.

Overall I enjoyed the movie on DVD and in the theaters. I read the books so I have a good idea what to expect unless some things are cut out. The end completely leaves you hanging so now you have to be in agony until November 2014.

I loved this movie since the first time I bought it. Many I heard don't like it but I do. I don't know why but I think the beginning is good until the end. Some people said the beginning was too much until it got to the games part.

My son begged me to watch the whole collection of the set and I was reluctant because I didn't really get into the first one. But I'm sold and now I can't wait to finish it out to see what happens. Now a fav!!! :-)

I love the Hunger Games books and the Trilogy is getting better. Can't wait for the next movie. Love the collectible steelbook special edition to enjoy this installment many more times before the next Hunger Games movie next fall.

If you have not seen the Hunger Games movies, be sure to buy both and watch them in order to get a good understanding of what is going on. If you have seen the first one then you will love this movie. Highly recommend both movies.

This is fun movie, even better than the first one. The casting in this series is excellent. Jennifer Lawrence delivers a top notch clinic for young actors in the art of stealing a scene without saying a word in the elevator scene!

This is a good movie for the entire family to watch. Very entertaining but you should watch the Hunger Games first so you aren't lost. I hope they make the next movie because the only bad thing is this movie leaves you hanging....

I liked the first movie a lot- so I was excited for this one. to my suprise, it was BETTER than the first Hunger Games movie. This movie upped the stakes in terms of story, characters etc. Really entertaining and really well made.
