This was a really great movie. The second of the series and i must say, what a fantastically well done blockbuster. The type of movie you want so much more from, but sadly do not get it with the serious cliffhanging ending you get. At the end of the movie you will be counting down the days of release to the next movie. Great steelbook case is funcional and very pretty.

I realize this review is set up as a product review and not a movie review but oh well. The movie is just what you expected after the first one, the set up for the next two. Yes, I said TWO. Did you really think they would not follow suit by stretching out the last book? Hey, at least they didn't Hobbit it. Alas, the movie was great and thus the Blu-Ray is fantastic.

The movie was amazing and as a reader of the series, I'm ready glad they decided to stick to the books as well as they did. The bonus features on the disc are actually pretty cool, they went really in depth about how they did the filming and the costumes, etc. The commentary during the film was pretty cool too, and I'm not one to usually watch with the commentary on.

Great movie. Can't wait until the next one. I thought it was well done and was pleasantly surprised. It lacked action until 2/3 of the way in, but the mystery and intrigue was well done. My only complaint was the "angst" that movie makers love to add. The characters are always torn by something, and sometimes it just annoys me. Be the here or not. Stop begrudging it.

I enjoyed the movie, but was glad that I saw the first one just before. I was easy to get to get pulled into it. Now I can't wait for the three movie thanks to my daughter Jen who convince me to watch it when she was home on for college. I bought the steel book on a deal of the day sale or some type of sale, other wise I don't think it is worth the regular price.

When a movie is produced as well as this one, it shows. You never feel like they skimped on anything in production and you end up getting thrown into a world that is completely believable. You feel like you are an actual participant in the Hunger Games and you are fighting to stay alive. A well written book is brought to life brilliantly. Excellent movie making!

This was an excellent movie and the story was very engaging. It pulled me in and kept me engaged throughout the movie and I got really interested in what would happen with the characters. I still keep thinking about things that happened in the movie and I keep wondering what will happen next. It will be hard to wait for the next movie to come out in this series.

As with all movies made from books, of course the book is better. More details, better character development, and the characters never look like what you think they will. But Catching Fire does a pretty good job at displaying most of the exciting & interesting parts of the book. Great set: DVD, Blu-Ray, and digital copy that works with iTunes or Ultraviolet.

Even if you haven't read the Hunger Games series, the movies are still fun, entertaining and intriguing. Those not familiar with the story may find the ending of this movie odd, but it really does follow the book quite well and leaves us all waiting for the next installment. Jennifer Lawrence shines as Katniss once again. Loved this one more than the first!

I saw this movie in the theater & couldn't wait for it come out. I really like the fact that this movie was offered in DVD, Blu Ray, & Digital. I recently purchased a blu ray & am trying to build up my collection, but I still need the DVD copy for my portable DVD player & of course, the digital copy makes it easier for me to keep a copy w/me on my trips. :)

I loved the series in print and the first movie. I heard some negative comments from a few people when Catching Fire came out in theaters and I didn't see it until I bought the movie. I was thrilled with how well the director and writers stuck to the original story and really brought the characters to life. It looked exactly as I imagined while reading it.

In my opinion, they did a wonderful job of capturing the emotions, the feel of the book. I thought the first movie was amazing, but with this second movie, you could feel Katniss's emotions, frustrations and fears. I haven't gone through the extras in this pack but I am sure it's going to make any Hunger Games fanatic happy! I highly recommend this movie!!

This movie is even better than the first one. The shaky filming is gone, which I was very happy about. It's a great adaptation of the second book. I'm glad they didn't cut scenes to shorten the movie. I'd much rather watch a longer movie adaptation of the book that stays relatively true to the story than a short movie that cuts a bunch of good scenes out.

A lot of people thought that Jennifer Lawrence was a poor choice to play the role of Katniss Everdren when it was first announced that she would fill the role, but if you liked her in "The Hunger Games", you will love her in "Catching Fire". She really makes the character her own in this one. While I feel that the plot falls a bit flat compared to THG, but it still manages to build tension for what is to come. I enjoyed it. Don't watch this without watching THG first. I saw this with someone who didn't, and of course, they didn't get it.

Readers of the books should be very pleased with the treatment of the material for the films. This 2nd film is again terrific visually with the characters expanding into their new roles as Hunger Games winners. All the actors are wonderful. Donald Sutherland as President Snow continues to chill and Jennifer Lawrence continues to amaze as Katniss.

(This is a review of just the steelbook.) I had seen the UK steelbook releases which are very meh for this franchise series then BBY announced this exclusive edition. The artwork is great, metal case is very nice to the touch. I am glad this edition came with the standard blu-ray special features. It is worth it to have this edition in your collection.

Few have not heard of "The Hunger Game" series and there is little wonder why this was the biggest blockbuster of 2013. There are extremely high expectations from the series from audiences and the studio, filmmakers and cast did not disappoint. Smooth continuation of the story with a good balance of drama, humor and action. Jennifer Lawrence is certainly the standout, but good supporting roles throughout. Highly recommended.

I liked The Hunger Games: Catching Fire as much as the first in the series, The Hunger Games. The video and audio are top notch. FYI, the screen aspect changes during certain scenes, like Dark Knight, in which the black bars are removed to show the movie full-screen. The Steelbook case itself is a great quality collector's item. Highly recommended!

I loved the movie so I knew I had to get the DVD when it came out. I loved the price because not only did it offer Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital Copy but it also offered free tickets to go and see Divergent. All other stores didn't offer this deal. Also the features look good though I haven't officially checked them out yet. Overall great purchase.
