Over the years I have been collecting the Hunger Games chapters upon release and have enjoyed very much the evolution of Katnis. I have a friend who was wary of the series for fear that it was too violent so I got her the entire box series and guess what? She liked the first film. I can rest easy now because I knew from the first film on that she would get caught up in it like I was. This series was so much better than Twilight.

If you're fan of the Hunger Games or new to film adaptations, the collection is definitely worth it. The Chipboard is well done and the discs are easy to access. As for the films - the last in the trilogy would have been best as one film and while worth a watch and having as part of the whole set, the first two films feel far superior. The setting as-is can be seen as an allegory of sorts for the real world.

I've never read the books, but great series of movies from start to finish. Jennifer Lawrence put on a killer show amongst other talented cast like Wood Harrison and Lenny Kravitz. The names of the supporting cast escapes me right now lol but this 4 film series is not one to be missed.

When I got this it was on a promotion where you buy a minimum and you will get a $10 gift card. I can honestly say that the movie is okay compare to the books but the acting was great so a plus there. For 50 bucks for all 4 movies is not bad at all. It also comes in a small box so it is easy to store it with the rest of my movies collection. Rating 5 star for the price and the acting. 4.5 star for the movies scripts.

Includes blu Ray and digital versions of the films. Finally got around to watching and enjoyed all 4. Cast was pretty good all around and while it wasn’t a genre breaker, lots of cool elements and the 4 movies were not 4 versions of the same story which was nice. Good build across all 4. Worth watching for kids and adults

I enjoyed the characters and watching them grow together. You felt the anger Katniss had with the games and her confused feeling for Peeta and Kale. You watch her grow and feel her loss of Prim and wish for revenge.. You see also the harshness and trauma she carries from the 1st game having had to kill and watch her harden into someone ready to kill for that revenge. In the end you see her at peace with Peeta.

I have purchased other Blu-rays and been disappointed with their quality on my TV screen. Things such as not filling up the whole screen. This set has an excellent audio and graphics. That is not a problem with this set. I highly recommend it as a good value.

Not as good as the books, but are they ever? And who has time to read anymore? That’s so old fashioned, well, unless you like read it on a kindle or something. Anyways, this is a great series and the movies are well done. Nice to have them all packaged together since you really need to see them all to get the story.

I hadn't seen this but heard good things about it. 2 of my kids read the books. The price was decent for a bundle of 4 movies and 2 bonus discs. What I expected to be a "one movie a week" thing turned into "1 film a night for 4 nights in a row". Even my wife, who normally doesn't really get into movies, was into this series. It was her demand that we watched them all in a row.

Wife and I are both a fan of these movies, as are our grown kids. We watched them all right away and noticed no technical issues with the disc's. Another reviewer mentioned that the packaging was kind of stupid/poorly designed, and while I thought he/she was being nit-picky... it turns out to be true. The sleeve/cover that the holds the insert that holds the disc's is open at the bottom. So if you store the movie in a bookshelf type setting, the movies will slide out of the bottom as you remove the set from the shelf. Stupid design, but doesn't affect the movies themselves at all. Good movies, nice set. Haven't viewed any of the 'extras.'

Hunger Games box set is so awesome! Perfect for anyone who wants the complete collection of the series in a nice, neat, compact box. I've got a rapidly growing film library, so, also it's great to file away in a singular package. Best Buy's steelbooks are the best! I wish every one of my Blu-rays were housed in steelbooks instead of flimsy plastic cases that crack, chip and break.

The hunger games movie collection on Blu Ray, is a nicely packaged set for anyone who has seen the movies. Haven't watched the bonus features disc yet, but the movies looked great on Blu-ray. Best Buy did on awesome job packing and shipping my product which arrived in mint condition and much faster then was listed. I would definitely order again, very satisfied.

Having seen these movies several times, this was an essential buy. With all 4 movies being in one package, the size is perfect and compact, and comes with everything essential for enjoying the movies. My buying experience had no issues

I had read all the books but not seen any of the movies before buying this complete collection. The film makers have done an excellent job adapting the books. The video and audio are both nearly perfect with Dolby Atmos tracks on the two "Mockingjay" films. The bonus features are extensive with each film getting its own documentary (more than two hours each) plus multiple featurettes. A sixth bonus disc adds even more material although some of it is repeated from the individual films' bonus features. The easter eggs from the original blu-ray releases are still there. All in all a good deal for four movies.

I thought that I had watched the first three movies, so I bought the collection to just watch the fourth movie. So I started off watching the first movie again and then realized I hadn't watched the last three movies. It was a big treat for me. I bought them in Blu-ray and the sound and the picture was excellent. I am so happy with my decision.

I'm not a big fan of this actress but the story line captured my attention. This is a good movie, especially for teens (despite the ratings). The story line talks about hope and how it can overthrow tyranny. Highly recommended and a must watch.

I decided to wait for the box set to be released before buying any of the films. The only thing that would have made the set better was if it came packaged with a book that chronicled the production of the films and the different marketing outlets like the Capitol Fashion ads and website, the chocolate bars from each District and so on.

A tale of heavy survival and sacrifice, love story and lies for the entertainment. This movie set is intense, a must have as the story plus out among 4 dvd’s In total. Love the Blu-ray and digital combo. Always handy to download and have the physical dvd as back up.

if you love the hunger games you know what youre getting. theyre great. if youre new then welcome, youre in for a treat. i knew nothing about the movies when i first saw them so i went in open minded and i was blown away. for any fan of the genre theyre a must have.
