The movie had scenes that moved on the heart of the viewer - brought reality to the emotions with the scene of all the skeletons and the innocent people in the hospital being blown up and burned. Very powerful ending with the viewer wanting to know what happens next.

I wasn't sure I as going to enjoy it as much as the first two since the games portion is done. It is a bit of a change of pace but works. I just wish the movie wasn't split into two but it seems the final chapters for major movies trilogy seem to be going this route.

Mockingjay part 1was a fun movie to watch. It took a while for the plot to get going. It finished too soon, I guess I'll have to see part 2 to see how the movie ends. The extras on the Bluray edition were good to see.

The movie was great, as a continuation of the hunger games. Although the steel book looks great, it's not the best quality box. I think if I'd known I would've gone with the regular blu-ray box. Overall not a bad buy.

This is another good installment of the series. Very slow going because it is trying to set up part 2 of the series, but if you have read the book, you know it is setting up for an epic last part of the movie series.

This is a nice edition to my Steelbook BD collection that I have sitting right beside my Steelbook Catching Fire. Bought for the same price as regular BD so I feel was a good deal. Worth buying if you like the movie!

I don't know, I didn't read the book. But I did watch all the prequels to this movie and just like this one, enjoyed them all. This is the best one yet and hope the last one tops them all. Highly recommended series.

Really good movie. Must watch the previous titles of the Hunger Games series to understand and follow along (highly recommended). Our first steel case, pretty impressive: rugged and works like normal (plastic) cases.

I bought this movie during black Friday and couldn't wait until it arrived! It arrived on time and with a digital copy included made this an awesome deal for a great movie! Loved it in the theatre and at home!

Love that it stays close to the book with few changes. Love the pace and the way the story keeps being told. And as for the steelbook, it is never a disappointment with Best Buy. Will keep getting them as they come.

Humger Games is a very good continuation of the Series. I felt it was more in line with the book. The special effects were engrossing and made the movie flow. I can't wait until the second part to complete the book.

Hunger games has a great story line to it and it has passion for life as well as the people in the movie. It makes you think about the future and the possibilities that could happen. Very good movie/movies to watch

As movie number 3 of 4 in a 3 book series, this was a really good movie. Continue the adventure with Katniss as the people start to really rebel against the oppression that has come over them for the last 75 years!

We are huge fans of Jennifer Lawrence, and she does an excellent job in this movie, as well as the subsequent titles. Movie is very well done. Didn't read the books, but watching the movies make me want to!

I have read all the books in the hunger games series. I understand that there is so much information that they needed to break the mockingJay into 2 parts. however i don't think the way they ended this first part was done too well. I am looking forward to part 2

I loved this movie! I have read the book series and loved them. So far it has been mostly accurate, with some important things I feel have been left out, but then again it can't be a 4 hour movie. Love this series!

I had not seen the movie at the theaters, so it was a first time see. The story continues and moves at a decent pace, with action and the drama. It's nice to see how the main character changes through the movie, but at the same time, without loosing it's essence.

although the fad of splitting finales into 2 parts is getting old, mockingjay pt 1 is a great addition to the hunger games series. the story moves along at a great pace and there is enough action to satisfy

We enjoyed this movie at the theater and was still enjoyable watching at home.Good action/thriller/suspense. Worth adding to one,s collection. If you have the previous ones in the series then you need to get this.

The Hunger Games series (movies and books) are entertaining and I enjoyed them. Can I say that they were the best books/movies EVER! nah, but I was entertained. I know taste is subjective, you may not like them and that is perfectly ok.
