The movie started off slow in my opinion, but held my interest nevertheless. In have enjoyed the previous Hunger Games movies and like the others, this one doesn't dissappoint. Good movie and I was totally surprised at the end. Can't wait for part 2!!

As the third installment in "The Hunger Games" saga, "Mockingjay Part 1" satisfies the avid viewer with plenty of action, suspense, great acting, as well as a faithful adherence to Suzanne Collins' book.

I was so excited to see that Best Buy had a steel book dvd for Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1! I love it, it is the perfect addition to my collection. Love the collectible case and outside picture on it.

The series continues in this part 1 of 2 movies and the action continues to get better. The story line is consistent from the previous movie and the quality is excellent. Overall an excellent production.

Because this movie is Part 1 of a two parter don't be shocked by a cliff hanger ending! Otherwise, this is a really good movie if you are a fan of the books. My daughter has read them all a couple of times. She says it stays pretty true to the books.

It is a movie. When you buy one hopefully it is already a 3 or more rating. However, the Blu-ray is the way to go. Having read the books, Blu-ray brings the scenery to a close match to ones imagination.

The last book of the Hunger Games series is divided into two movies. This is the first half. I thoroughly enjoyed this one sitting on the "edge of my seat" waiting for the action. It did not disappoint.

This one is a bit slower and less exciting then the previous two films, but it is still very good. It does come with an iTunes digital copy of the movie, which is so much better than the UV junk. Movie is definitely worth purchasing if you're a fan.

I bought this item because I enjoy the movies and because it was a good deal. For a reasonable price, I got a Blu ray copy, DVD copy, and a digital copy of one of the hottest movie series out there!

I didn't think I was going to be a fan of the series but somehow I got sucked in. Great movie, loved the effects, and the LOVED the price. Best Buy had the steel book (dvd, blu-ray, and digital copy) for less than the cost of the blu-ray at Target.

Was anticipating this movie release for what seemed like an eternity...but it was just so much hype that at first I was a little disappointed...but then I watched it again and it was very much worth it

I enjoyed this film. It keeps the action going, and kept my attention until the very end. I have not read the books so I can't compare. I am enjoying it for the first time. I can't wait to see part 2.

Part 1 is a perfect set up for the finale. I am happy they were able to split the third book up into 2 movies. It is my least favorite book so I had high hopes for movie and it worked out beautifully.

After reading all the books in the series I was surprised to see the characters come to life on the big screen. The movies followed the plots from all the books very closely. I recommend these movies.

Mockingjay Part 1 does well with the source material and seems to end at a good point in the story, leaving us anxious for Part 2. The set comes with a digital copy to redeem on Ultraviolet or iTunes.

The steel book edition case looks really nice and it is exclusive to Best Buy. This version comes with several different methods of viewing: blu-ray, DVD and digital copy. This third installment is a great addition to your hunger games collection.

This entry is much more cerebral and politically driven than action. I enjoyed it. However, I hate that they are splitting stories to make more money instead of to do justice to the source material. This book could easily have been done in one go.

Since I like the Hunger Games books and movie series, this movie was just the next step - I picked it up in the store, was happy to get the "at Best Buy Only" product and watched it the same evening!

If you Enjoyed the books, you will Love the movie! Spending time on the characters backstory and showing their journey as they handle both physical and emotional situations was very interesting.

It's for them, teenage daughter loves the series, adults can tolerate a moderately entertaining series. Effects are pretty good and so are the actors , just not something I would purchase for myself.
