Great acting, great cinematography, great movie. I love the books, and although movies are never as good as the books, this series is greatly enjoyable in its own right.

Third in the series for the Hunger Games series. This movie lives up to the expectations of many fans. The cast is enjoyable and easy to like. Great film for the family.

Part 1 of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay is what we have been waiting for in this series. The beginning of the end for the regime. Can't wait for part 2 to sum it all up!!

Man - I can't wait until part two, part one rocks it did not let me down it just made me want more - it keeps you on the edge of your set from start to finish - loved it

The whole family really enjoyed this movie, except for our 1st grade son that fell asleep for the last 20 minutes. He seemed to enjoy the parts he was awake for, though.

Great Movie the best In the series so far. Great for viewers of all ages. The steel boo case is an added bonus and gives this DVD a special feel in your DVD collection.

I cannot wait for the next movie to come out. This one was somewhat slower but that's due to the length and waiting for it to expand more later. Love Jennifer Lawrence!

I read the books and I am happy to see that they split the last book up into two movies. This first movie feels more like a primer to me but hey, it really is well done to build you up for the next installment.

I was a little confused at the beginning but perhaps its because I haven't seen the previous movies in a while. That aside It was pretty good, but felt like it was a filler...building up to the last installment.

Movie pretty much felt like a 2 hour preview for the finale (kinda like Harry Potter Deathly Hallows 1). However, I still liked it and the steelbook casing is very nice

I'm a fan of this series and I read all the books. You can't understand this series if you didn't read the books. It leaves out vital pieces here and there and if you didn't read the book. They don't make sense

This was another great movie in the series of the hunger games. The packaging done with the steel book adds something unique to the overall presentation, which is good!

Mockingjay Part 1 is different that the two films that came before, but the story and character development felt more advanced and urgent. Thoroughly enjoyed this film.

Mockingjay is a great choice for a family movie night. Exciting enough to keep younger guys interested, a love story and political intrigue for the rest of us. Very well done, nice special effects, good acting.

No problems at all. This is a DVD in a steel box. I am having difficulty getting the digital copy downloaded onto my iMac computer, but that's not a DVD or sales issue

I love getting the steelbox for dvds now. The case is sturdier and fits better on my shelf. This installment of hunger games was amazing and I can't wait for the next!

The film seemed to start okay but as it moved along I thought it lost a little continuity. The cast was good and I thought that the acting was more than good. I hope that part 2 will weave everything together.

I really like this series, so far. This movie could have been a little more exciting. It had a few spots that were needlessly slow. But I would still recommended to Hunger Games fans. Looking forward to part 2.

It is a good movie. I bought it from Best Buy because I like the steelbook. It matches the previous two that I bought. I'll buy the next one, too. Cool little gimmick.

Still a very good movie and series. Of course the worst part of the movie is that you have to wait for the second half of it to come out. Overall the movie is good and gives a great feeling for the next movie.
