the movie started off slowly but action picked up quickly. Enjoyed the movie and recommed it highly.

On its own, the movie works very well as part of the franchise, but I still can't say I'm happy with their decision to split the final book into two movies. What worked for Harry Potter can't be applied to every young adult series. The first two Hunger Games books translated into tight and excellent movies, and having read all three for myself, I do not see why the same couldn't have been done for Mockingjay.

Mockingjay part 1 was a great continuation of the last 2 movies and story progression!
