A good movie soundtrack takes you back to the film whenever you hear it. It rises and falls with the action of the movie, and in the best cases the song lyrics themselves mirror the action on the screen. The Mockingjay soundtrack does all of this. Enjoy!

This is a gift of my granddaughter and she will be very very surprised as she has wanted this for a long time. Will post more when she opens her gifts!

Lorde executive produced this cd. It has a great sound and really sounds like all of the music would fit well in the Hunger Games world.

Few soundtracks have the staying power of the Hunger Games albums. They are all great, this is no exception!

For some reason, my daughter relates to this movie and loves the soundtrack even more. Plays over and over.

The soundtracks for these films are unique and have something for everyone. I just wish the Hanging Tree song was on this disc.

I found the music overall pleasant, but as always every soundtrack will have 1 or two tracks that you just tune out or skip.

I bought this for my niece, who was disappointed to learn that the main song from the movie is not on it. After some research, we learned the song is only included in the digital soundtrack. If you're looking for the "Hanging Tree " song from the movie, you better go to iTunes. :(

I am impressed with Lorde and her production of this album as a whole. There are definitely some standout songs, including Lorde's "Yellow Flicker Beat." She uses a number of new popular artists, including Charli XCX, Tove Lo, and Chvrches to keep the soundtrack relevant. And it was nice to hear a great new song by The Chemical Brothers. I highly recommend this soundtrack for fans of some of the latest artists on the airwaves.

Curated by Lorde, it has a lot of her music and bands along her style lines. Like the rest of the Hunger Games sndtrks there is a lot of good music. No Hanging Tree remixes or the original Jennifer Lawrence version from the movie for good or ill

Played the soundtrack several times as it set the tone for the day. Really could not connect the songs to the movie except for the mood. Would have loved to have the song on the track that Kat was singing in the movie. You could actually buy the cd for the music alone

I love this cd! It's not what I expected but that might be why I like it so much.
