Great movie for History Buffs
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I first saw this movie on TV many years ago and haven't seen it since. I HAD to have it! I've always been intrigued with Armand Assante because he was pretty selective of the films he was in. This movie TOTALLY captured me because of the courage against adversity, moment by moment. In 1864 with this being the first submarine EVER - the heroism of 9 men who died valiantly and accomplished their feat. I REALLY do not know why this movie hasn't been remade or put this in a higher format. It CERTAINLY deserves it!!!!
