This movie is exactly what I wanted rich getting back what they deserve for thinking that they are above the law

Great movie, lots of action and it has great horror humor as well.

I hope this does not inspire people to do this in real life !

This movie was almost never released, but I’m sure glad that it was. I missed it the one week it ran in theaters, but I purchased it the day it came out. Politics aside, this is one entertaining movie. The dark humor is an excellent touch, and the story is original and open-ended. This movie is not politically offensive, but does play into biases to make for a more engaging story. I would say it’s easily one of the best horror movies of 2019/2020

When I sat down to watch The Hunt I was expecting something along the lines of Ready or Not, which is pretty much what I got! If you like watching female protagonists kicking villainous butt, along with a reasonably hefty dose of blood and gore, you might want to give this movie a day in court. Betty Gilpin gives a great performance and had us laughing all the way from beginning to end. Blu-ray presentation looks clean and sharp with nice colors, rich texture and shadows, along with a nice sounding audio package. All in all, well worth the price of admission!

This film is one of the few that light heartily makes fun of BOTH political sides. It's just satire and I did not get the controversy the media put on the film. The violence was no more over the top or gratuitous than most action films today. If you enjoy dark and mature humor, action and smart writing then you will enjoy this film. It isn't too long or short in length and it never gets boring. The cast is great and everyone just seems to enjoy their roles.

“An amazing story of first impressions and how wrong they are.” This saga is filled with surprises that are unexpected and many twists and turns that keep your interest up and cling you to your seat. The story has a lot of killings – over 20 – and many violent action scenes – it is a complete “slug-fest!” Betty Gilpin really acted out her character Crystal in a very natural and believable way – think we will see more of her in the future. The story-lines ending is totally unexpected and as great as-it-gets. What a superb Horror: Drama/Thriller!

The Hunt lets us see a real "them against us" turn into physical violence, the 2 sides being some upper class managerial types tired of the lower working class who keep complaining and making up conspiracies. Neither side looks virtuous, but maybe the working class have the advantage in looking noble, since it's the upper class that initiate the violence. This movie may be a warning about where we're heading in our polarized society.

Frankly, i didnt know how to react to this movie... it is a whole smorgasboard of 'what the heck is going on!?' I'm not sure if I liked it or disliked it after watching it... should I cheer for the 'good guy' or the 'bad guy?' Nonetheless, I did get a few laughs, some 'what just happened' and some jaw dropping moments. I'd say keep an open mind and give it a try anyway.. The disc and digital copy worked well. Need to add QR code... that would be awesome...

The rich and the poor. The priviledged and the downtrodden. The cat and the mouse. The strong and the weak. Betty Gilpin and Hilary Swank are the main attraction in this fight for survival. Bored socialites looking for a weekend fix to kidnap poor to middle class innocents and use them for hunting sport. Gilpin survives this bloody onslaught and in the final chapter faces her nemesis and the ringleader in all these mechinations (Swank) . Ooooh boy - get ready for the final showdown........

I bought this movie with very low expectations. To my surprise, this movie not only surpassed my low expectations but I ended up watching this movie twice on the same day. This film is a sleeper hit and makes a good commentary on the sad state of our politics today (stuck in our own Twilight Zone of Red State / Blue State brain dead politics). View this film - you will enjoy it immensely.

I really liked this movie a lot. It offered edge of seat viewing as well as comedy which was a really good combo. I thought everybody in the movie was great for what they added to this movie. The fight scene between Gilpin and Swank was awesome. This movie held my interest to the very end which these days is unusual.

Hilarious new comedy. It was one of the last movies I saw in theaters before the pandemic, so I was eager for it to come out. Dark satire and hilarious moments all throughout while still having plenty of action. I wish there was a steelbook, but other than that, fantastic copy.

This was not the horrible movie that the press said it was. It was funny, and really done well. It pokes fun at both sides of the political spectrum, and does it well. It you can take a joke and not a snowflake, enjoy this romp.

For as controversial as this flick was when it came out, I wouldn't say it warranted all the neg hype. It was funny, in a very dark sort of way. But, if you are a super-touchy political type, you may not appreciate a lot of the humor. Myself, I thought it was a completely enjoyable dark comedy.

A group of people wake up in the middle of a field with bits locked in their mouths. A large box arrives containing weapons and the key to the bits. And a pig? The the shooting starts and several of them are killed before they can reach cover. The plan is to find a way back to civilization. Even the best of plans can go wrong. I found this very entertaining but I still don't understand about the pig!

Great cast. Good acting. Very funny. It's not a deep thinking movie or artsy. If you're looking for a fun action movie then this is it. And you can even be conservative or libertarian and enjoy it. It pokes fun of liberals too. I liked it better than Ready or Not. 100 x better than the current crap in the cinema.

The premise of this movie was supposed to be really controversial in light of the current state of affairs in this Country. The only difference between this movie and others just like it, such as the movie, Get Out, is the political affiliation of both the 'hunters' and the 'hunted'. Other than that, this really isn't an 'award-winning' movie, but it is sort of entertaining.
