Good flick , action and all that .................

Incredible detail put into this. When opening, the discs have what appear to be pricing stickers on them and never have I been more perplexed for a solid thirty seconds as to how this could be -- until I remembered it was part of the design! This case is made with as much genius as the movie, meaning it is a must have.

If you’re into movies like 1917, Jarhead, Black Hawk Down, Fury, and Man On Fire then you’ll maybe appreciate this movie. It is its own type of war story with some fun and realistic sequences and some drama. I love this movie and the 4K does it more justice than ever! Plus suuuper cool case & discs!

I was very excited to see this SteelBook back in stock. It’s a great looking piece! The artwork on the cover is amazing and I like the addition and function of the slipcover. Definitely worth picking up. It’s a great movie with a great SteelBook!

Never knew what a "hurt locker" was until this movie. Jeremy Renner did a good job playing his part. He was realistic and even showed an arrogance about him. But yet he was confident about himself and loved what he did. The location where it was filmed had to be in the Middle East somewhere which to me, contributed to the movie greatly rather than a set. It kept you on your toes because you never knew if those hidden bombs would explode or not. You felt like you were there!!!!

A tour de force of acting, characterization, story telling, tension filled vignettes, machismo, action, emotional engagement and more. Hand held camera and quick zooms might be off-putting to some but, inevitably, it all combines to put the viewer inside the story.

The Hurt Locker looks great in 4k. The film holds up very well. The steelbook is an excellent plus. A keeper and must buy for fans. An intense examination of life on an uncertain battlefield and the mundane life for a soldier off of it. A masterpiece.

Have had numerous discussions over the accuracy of the actual daily bomb squad scenes. Like Apocalypse Now, this film is about the mentality of the people who do this job. And it succeeds well enough to win the Academy Award for best picture.

Wasnt really diggin this one. The picture quality of the 4k honestly had me feeling like I was watching a VHS tape in 1993. Stick with your blu ray. Steelbook looks unequivocally PHENOMENAL though. Its worth a pick-up on sale if your into artwork.

One of the best modern war movies around! It hits hard with action, suspense, and gets into psychological aspect of war. The 4K resolution cleans up the image somewhat. The image has grain for all you grain lovers, as im not one of them!

Great movie showing the gritty side of war, sounds good with ATMOS, movie shows a lot of grain but it not over done and and to the movie to look authentic with the hand held cameras, this is a must have for anyone who likes war movies

I bought this movie as a blind buy. I had never seen this film before. This movie is very entertaining. The disc has great surround sound. The movie was filmed to look like it is footage from body cams (in places). So, some scenes look a little rough. 4K does not help this movie tremendously. This 4K will not be reference quality.

great movie, gorgeous packaging, happy i snagged it 4K doesn't make a huge difference for a movie that was shot on 16 mm, but this is easily the best version of the hurt locker ever released. And that cover art!

While not to be confused with Jarhead and every other movie set in this location and time period of US history, this movie is one of the best. Tense, gripping and ultimately deeply depressing, it's a true classic.

Rating just the steelbook artwork, 4k transfer was pretty good. The artwork and packaging is actually great and the additional plastic sleeve is cool too I think more steelbook releases could do this

Great steelbook, and the slipcover integration is good too. Inside the discs look like ripped copies in keeping with the movie and very well done. The movie is excellent, but you already know that.

Excellent movie. The steel book is really good. I thought the story was very good. Very good action scenes and the way these guys had to disarm the expensive device was nerve racking.

One of favorite films of all time. The cast is incredible but i will give extra props to Anthony Mackie he's pretty outstanding in this. Oh and I think the steelbook looks great.

Action packed and intensely gripping war movie that keeps the viewers attention and interest throughout. Now available on 4K HD this is a must own for those of war/action intense movies.
