This line of Lionsgate steelbooks are fantastic. They all come with a creatively designed slipcover. As far as the movie, it is a tense affair well worth watching.

Outstanding story line of how dangerous EOD truly is. And how war changes a person and their family Freedom comes with a price. Excellent 4k transfer and excellent Atmos soundtrack

Great film, great director. The 4K transfer is exactly how you would want to see an older film presented. It has great audio track that bursts through all speakers.

Intense film, subtle HDR usage but solid 4K upgrade. I really like the steelbook art and the slipcover for it, but it's definitely subjective. Highly recommend the movie either way.

The Dolby Atmos mix is really good. Bigelow’s film relied a lot on sound fx because they didn’t have the budget for aerial aircraft and the new Atmos mix really accentuates this.

All the hidden dangers of war revealed to those who want to receive them. A lot of action--in a peculiar way--throughout. You will be tense and on the edge of your seat a lot. The ending will surprise you through war's gentle tug.

I bought this movie as a 4K and steelbook upgrade from my original Blu-ray release back in 2009. As I display steelbooks, I was excited to get this movie, because it looks great.

Steelbook came packaged in a box that prevent any dents in it. I am a collector so that means a lot that you took the time to mail it in a manner that would not damage it.

A very interesting movie on a subject most of us are not experienced with. I found it intriguing, intense and well done. There was just enough humor to take the edge off at appropriate times. The cinematography was well done and looked fantastic.

The common thread among us all soldiers your regardless of which war conflict has been the mental anguish of dealing with the gray of war. It's a good thing to see the struggle that are soldiers go through that they sacrifice for our good. A true & serious story that came out before American sniper.

Great movie and the new 4K transfer is fantastic! If you're a fan of this movie and have a 4K bluray player then this is a must own.

Wow, what a movie! The Blu-ray is demo worthy material. The picture quality is incredible and the sound is top notch. If you have a home theater system, The Hurt Locker is the film to showcase it.

While not the most realistic movie I always enjoyed this movie. The 4k release on my sound system along with the video quality increase is well worth the purchase

This film beautifully examines the psyche of someone who enters a war zone every single day - the adrenaline rush and the isolation that comes with it. Again, it's amazing that you can purchase a classic like this on DVD for such a low price at Best Buy.
