    I remember watching the Ice Storm at the Embarcadero Center Cinema when the film, and that movie theatre, were both new. This is my third copy of the movie; I had the original DVD and the deluxe DVD set before this deluxe Blu-ray set became available. This edition is well worth it! Watching it is like being back in that theatre. The colors are resplendant, particularly in scenes like the daughter's bike ride and the mother's visit to the book sale in town. The extra material adds to my appreciation of this Ang Lee masterwork, even discussing little details like the recreation of the 1970s outfits.
