  • Not all blu-rays upscale same; DVD quality here

    The older the original movie the less likely the quality of the Blu-ray version will be acceptable by today's standards; no doubt this is attributable to the equipment used in the making of the old movie. Such is the case here. Even with upscaling, the picture quality is about comparable to a good DVD burn.

    Love this movie. Crystal clear video on my BlueRay player. Its an old movie from 1980 but very entertaining. Have been looking to buy it forever and Best Buy was the only store to have it!

    I really love this movie! I saw it a long time ago on cable channel and always wanted a DVD/BluRay copy- Thx Best Buy for making it available for me to purchase

    This movie shows how a talented songwriter who isnt a great singer developes Artists to become Singing Idols. An excellent movie.

    Great movie featuring a highly underrated performance by the late Ray Sharkey. This 1980 sleeper looks and sounds great on blu ray. Highly recommended!!
