Can’t remember if this is based on a true story or not but it definitely lets you feel the pain and anxiety that these people go through to survive and find each other. Worth watching.

I enjoy movies that are based on real life events. The main actors did an excellent job portraying the parents in this movie.

This was a very intense movie. I wouldn't recommend it for children under12. The story, perhaps partly because it was based on true events, was compelling. The adult and child actors were excellent. They were very believable. The special effects gave you a sense of what it was like to be caught up in the tsunami. I would highly recommend this movie.

I really loved this movie!! I thought Naomi Watts did a great job of acting, showing the pain and suffering she went thru to survive a typhoon and keep her child alive, to hopefully be reunited with her family. Special effects were excellent. as was the story. The movie deserved the Oscar nominations it got!! Highly recommedn this movie!!

kids and I love to watch tragedy that is based on real life. There is one scene that makes it very real as to what the family was going through at the beginning. More throughout the movie, but not as shocking. It brought up conversations as a family what we should plan when on vacation.

IT took me a while to watch this movie after purchasing it. I heard it was sad and didn't want to make myself sad. I watched it on a rainy day. It was a great day for lounging on the couch and watching a movie. It was a very good movie and I enjoyed it very much.

This movie is so good. Such a great movie based on a true story. Love all of the performances in it. Especially Ewan McGregor, Naomi Watts, and Tom Holland. Even if you haven’t seen it you should buy it!

Enjoyed this movie very much. Even though the story was focused on one family, it was very exciting. Received movie within a week. Too bad this movie was not available in store pick-up, so I had to spend $2.99 on shipping. Wish there's no minimum purchase to have free shipping.
