As a hardcore fan of Anne Hathaway I was shocked that I had somehow missed this movie. Soon I found myself laughing and crying with this amazing cast of characters. While Hathaway reminds us how challenging it still is for a successful business woman and mom... De Niro reminds us that even in this modern age that chivalry isnt dead by a long shot... We are reminded that experience should never be undervalued... and that if young mean feel lost... they should look to their elders to catch a clue in how to deal with women. Wonderful flick from all angles.

There are always a few things that will never go unnoticed in a Nancy Meyers film. First, the acting portrayed by Anne Hatheway, Robert Deniro and Renee Russo are superb! Secondly, the dialogue is always full of wit, charm and authenticity when relating to the characters and their experiences. Lastly, one of my favorites, is the lustrous set design!
"The Intern" serves up a wonderful depiction of modern age branding of the highly influential technology that comes with running a business. It's smart dialogue and wonderful acting are infectious and the cinematography is all around stunning. Meyer's, in turn directs another lovingly memorable film with an overly endearing message of "it's never too late to accomplish ones dreams".

Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway pair up perfectly in this comedy adventure about a man who is trying to get a job when he pretty much passed the hiring age (70) in this business world. He gets a job at an online fashion company, of which he knows nothing about and is told he is to be intern to the website's founder (Anne), but she only wants him for window dressing and doesn't expect him to be of much help. The twist is that he is of more help than she could ever imagine and the roles flip as he begins to mentor her. Great cast for these comic scenes.

As unbelievable as this story line is these two actors make it work. Sure some young hot mom is going to hire a seventy plus senior and he will be her first assistant. This must of caused every young chicks head in the theatre to explode as in the end of the Kingsman movie. Not a chick movie for sure and probably puts Hathaway down there with Jennifer Gardner under the how could you list. Yes who would leave Ben Affleck? Its a seniors dream to be Hathaway's go to guy but everyone knows DiNiro is not the Nice Guy ( Goodfellas, Meet the Parents, The Family) so why force it ? Have Hathaway dump the husband and runaway to an island paradise with DiNiro. Don't worry the story plot comes nowhere close to that. Cute but engaging.

I got this during a best buy flash sale and its worth allot more than I paid for it first off its a lot bigger than you think it will be and second of all the sound is fantastic you can actually plug a subwoofer into this but you don't need to everything sounds great in this and the bass is really good you actually have to activate the bass because they think you'll buy the subwoofer. But you don't need to by the subwoofer the bass is excellent. it's a great speaker. I highly recommend.
And ps this speaker also has blutooth excellent excellent speaker!

Great casting putting both Hathaway and DeNiro in one movie. I'll admit that I watched this thinking that it'll just be another comedy. The characters are what made this movie a great one. It's a story about two different people from two different places in time and how they were able to develop a friendship in spite of their old and new expectations and how with their personal conflict they were able to see the person instead of just the employee and how their perception eventually changed because of that. Great movie with a heart!

Old fashioned entertainment delivered with an able cast. No guns, no profanity and only one questionable scene to get the rating. It's too bad they felt the need to add that one because this is the kind of movie that offers character arch, humor, lessons learned and an enjoyable story that touches upon the world we live in today and how a little old fashioned thinking can even out the bumps of this "instant gratification" world the millenniums have inherited. Well worth the price of admission.

Having enjoyed movies from both of the main characters of this movie (Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway), I decided to give this movie a watch, even though it really didn't look like the type of movie I would typically enjoy. I am so glad I did, this was a fantastic movie from start to finish, and goes to show what we all can learn from the older generations of workers. One of the best non-action movies I have probably ever seen, and I would highly recommend to everyone.

With a wonderful cast and a story line that rings true, I could watch this movie over and over again. "The Intern" is a movie title that I have found is hard to find. Yet when I was picking up merchandise which I ordered online, I asked the lady who was helping me if this movie was available. After checking on her computer, she left the pick-up desk and returned with the movie in hand. What sensational customer service! Thank you Best Buy.

Old School meets e- commerce and both win. DeNiro plays a retired widower looking for something to keep himself busy. Anne Hathaway is a 30 something with an online business. Hathaway's partner starts a senior Intern program to which Deniro applies and is accepted. Of course he is assigned to work with Hathaway. Needless to say she doesn't want an intern. DeNiro works his usual magic and Hathaway is her wonderfully quirky self in this generational comedy.

I purchased this movie to watch with my wife; we wanted something light hearted and funny, and we both like DeNiro. The story was actually quite enjoyable, and being that we are baby boomers we could easily relate to what it's like being older than most everyone else in the office. Both Robert DeNiro and Anne Hathaway were great in their respective roles as was the supporting cast. We finished watching the movie with smiles on our faces.

Robert DeNiro stars as Ben Whittaker, a 70-year-old widower who gets the chance to work as a senior intern at an online fashion start-up founded and run by the ambitious Jules Ostin, played by Anne Hathaway. As the two generations collide, they also find friendship and someone to count on – each other.
Robert DeNiro & Anne Hathaway were Grade A in this 2015 comedy. The movie is rated PG-13 and has a 60% Rotten Tomato rating. Very classy and funny.

Full disclosure: I've always loved Anne Hathway since Princess Diaries. Moving on, The Intern is a great DramCom. You see the social norms of s business owner flipped so that it's a woman leading the company m, while instead of hiring fresh out of college interns, her company hires retired interns. This movie is about subtle breaking the social norms in the business world, reverse parenting and second life change owning inks sh.

This movie surprised me! I picked it up because I had reward money to spend. Had seen some previews so thought "why not"! I think everyone who plans to interview for a job or does interviewing should see this movie! And if you have a job or living the dream, it's a great reminder of what the older generation brings to the table. Fresh, smart, funny and completely entertaining, with a bit of heart tugging to go with it!

This is hands-down my favorite role that Robert De Niro has played! He fits the role so naturally (I can totally buy that he's "just a big ball of mush" in real life too)! And he and Anne Hathaway have great chemistry! This is a unique movie - the plot was different with a great balance between humor, seriousness, and "awwww" moments. I think just about everyone can find something they like about this movie.

Bought this film knowing that it would be great for family movie night and it was. Warm-hearted, amusing and well acted. Very typical of Nancy Meyer's films (such as You've Got Mail and Sleepless in Seattle) and definitely in the same vein and overall vibe of her previous films. A little bit of language and "suggestive" plot points, but still very family friendly. In all, I recommend highly.

A great movie with several great story lines. Goes to prove "seniors" do have experience and people skills that college grads have yet to acquire. An older person, played by Robert De Niro, remains cool under pressure through the movie without getting overbearing is a welcome change. Great Casting and movie.
