The Iron Giant is fun for all ages. It has a wonderful story line about true friendship and trying to take care of others. I would recommend this moviefor everyone.

This film is by far the best animated film I have ever seen. All I can say is buy it, watch it with your kids (or yourself for that matter if you don't have kids), and you'll thank me after. Beautiful animation, top-notch voice acting, and incredible direction make this film the superior piece it is. Like the 'Toy Story' films, 'The Iron Giant' is a perfect example of why animated films should be allowed to contend for the 'Best Picture Oscar', because I can guarantee you there was not a single film in 1999 that compared to the quality of this film in terms of story, effects, sound, and music. This film could have and should have been nominated for several oscars. A great dvd package is offered here for a film that is nothing short of spectacular, and the film deserves every bit of attention that has been given it on this disc.

I love this movie! It's got a great story line, and it teaches a great lesson. It is a must for families with young children. My 5 year old son loves it and asks to watch it on family movie night all the time. Even my two year old daughter talks about it! We first saw it on Netflix, but it went away. I purchased it immediately for a great price from Best Buy.

Like I said, my 2 year old loves the movie. He will watch Batman, Superman, etc, but will watch this movie all the way through. This is great because we can pop it in in the evening and get stuff done (ie. cooking dinner, or cleaning house).

Although an older animated movie, my grandkids like this one alot! it has action without all the junk. This boy has to make decsions that effect not just himself. How he grows and learns as he goes through all his adventures. I still enjoy it too.

My daughter wanted the DVD because she remember seeing the movie growing up. She really enjoyed watching it again.

If you haven't seen this movie, I highly recommend it. It's a family/friend favorite with everyone I know.
