This is a great deal on a bunch of fun Jackie Chan movies. The package consists of two double sided movies, with two movies on each side. So it is like 2 movies per DVD. The quality is not bad. I've watched them on a 46" hdtv and had no problem with quality. Of course it is not HD quality, but what sane person expects 8 movies in blu-ray at this price?? The movies themselves are very fun to watch. The plot is sometimes very contrived, and some of the acting is silly, but the movies are very enjoyable and funny. Most of the movies are dubbed in English, and the dubbing could have been better. In one movie for example, a guy's voice and accent changes in the middle of the movie, cos I think they had to replace the dubbing artist. However, the cinematography, the jokes, and the fight sequences are all very enjoyable. Not a deal you can pass up if you enjoy Jackie Chan movies.

I've been a fan of Jackie Chan movies for years....my only issue with these DVDs is that I suppose since it is a collection there was no room on the DVDs for extras. I mean there isn't even the option to watch the movies in their original language with subtitles...there are subtitles for the hearing impaired but I'm not a fan of overdubbing.

Eight movies at one low price of 4.99. The movies are all his older stuff before he started having a big budget to film with. As long as you don't go into it, expecting award winning movies, this is a great deal. All the movies played great and had good quality. The set was two discs with 2 movies being on each side of each disc. Many hours of entertainment.

Miramax put 8 Jackie Chan films on 2 dvds and maintained the quality of individual dvds. Watch Jackie transisiton from cheesy low-budget films with voice-over to big-budget action films. The earlier films may have weak plot and acting, but that is what makes them charming. Hence, the excellent rating.

I'm downsizing, so space is saved by getting rid of 7 other dvds. Grant it, the picture quality is not as great as individual dvds, but willing to trade off - can't beat the price ($4.99),

Nice collection for fans. Though the quality is poor, this is the best collection you can get for the price of $5. I like all the movies. 2nd dvd is double layered, so have to play in reverse to watch all the movies. Hope they will sell more!!

Its Jackie Chan who does not love Jackie Chan. I love his movies. Great Actor and Martial Artist.

Everything was good about this purchase--good movies, the great Jackie Chan

While this collection contains eight movies, the DVD quality doesn't do the movies justice. The quality is heavily compressed and not well suited for large screen viewing. How else can they squeeze the eight movies onto two discs, but to decrease video quality (by increasing video compression and their artifacts). Also, all of the movies just have English as the only language available and the original language audio is not preserved. Due to the video quality and lack of audio options, this is definitely not for the Jackie Chan movie collector. Ironic as this is being sold as a collection. There are much better versions available.

Some of his best movies on 1 dvd. And can't go wrong for the price.

I didn't expect the movies to be on a single double sided disc. The problem is there is no safe surface on the DVD. You WILL scratch one surface or the other.
