This collection: I gave it as a Chrismas gift. What can one say: a bad thing about Bond? Not really, except for the fact that these discs come 10 to a case (3 cases total)... and parts of each case were cracked (poor shipping perhaps???). I want to replace the case but perhaps in due time. We've seen two movies so far; great picture and quality. 4-star rating for the poor quality of the packaging. 5-star rating for film quality, sound, and collection

While the Discs are packaged in a box, and are securely placed within the holders, the three different cases, the covers are all blank white. The front has the years involved and the back lists the names of the films, but only in black type. Very, very poor marketing. If I had know before hand I would not have purchased the set. Believe I could have gotten all 23 films in cases that would look decent on the shelf. But the box is open now, and it would probably take an act of Congress to get Best Buy to take them back and refund my full purchase price, so I'll keep them.I'll probably wind up inserting some colorful scenes or something from the various films in the three.

I have just finished watching the complete series in this set, along with a number of the special features provided. I have a couple of minor quibbles, but overall I think this is a wonderful set. I like the small footprint packaging, making it easy to fit on the shelf. Minor Quibbles · Aspect Ratio – Not everything has to be widescreen, only movies that were filmed that way. The first three Bond movies, Dr. No, From Russia with Love, and Goldfinger were all filmed in standard format. If a movie was filmed that way, show it that way. In the same way I dislike taking a widescreen movie and chopping off the sides to fit an old square TV, I dislike taking a movie filmed in standard 4x3 and chopping off the top and bottom to fit it on a widescreen TV. Just let us see the movie as it was originally released in theatres. · Menu Continuity – All of the movies from Dr. No all the way through to Die Another Day have a consistent and unified disc menu. The Daniel Craig movies just lift the menu straight from the original Blu-Ray release. They are so much the same that when putting my new copy of a Daniel Craig Blu-Ray in my player for the first time I was prompted if I wanted to resume or start over. (It was a movie I already owned as a single) Picture Quality All of the movies look fantastic, especially the older movies. Of course some look better that others, but for the most part I attribute this to variations of the original source. With 23 movies over 40 plus years, there are bound to be variations in quality of source material. Sound Quality All the movies have a Dolby Digital 5.1 track. It is my understanding that some of the earlier films were actually recorded in mono so the conversion, while pleasant, is not the full surround sound we are used to on modern movies. Special Features My favorite special feature were the Inside series (Inside Goldfinger, Inside Live and Let Die, etc) for all of the movies up to and including the Dalton installments. These appear to be from 1995 and 2000 home video releases. So, not HiDef, but definitely in depth. For each movie it accompanies, it provides interviews with both behind the scenes and in front of camera talent, and provides a lot of good information. My only complaint about them is that at 30 to 45 minutes each, they are too short. The special features of the Brosnan and Craig movies, while interesting in their own way, seem a little shallow by comparison.

All the Bonds (at least ALMOST all the Bonds) in one package, and a Blu-ray pack at that, together. Best Buy really was a *best buy* too for the cost. Much cheaper this way than buying either separately or in separate actor collections packs. The only downside, "Never Say Never Again" is not included, but that's because it was distributed by Warner Bros. I think and not MGM, thus not an "official" MGM Bond movie. It would have been cool to also have the original "Casino Royale" American TV episode, but what are ya gonna do.

For any Bond fan this truly is a great collection. I am in the process of watching all but from what I have seen so far, just wow. The quality of the picture is fantastic and is much better than my expectations for these films especially being for their age. I had the entire DVD collection before I bought this and I did not regret my decision, definitely worth upgrading to Blu-Ray.

For $90.00 (plus tax) you simply can't go wrong with this very awesome box set of 23 Bluray Bond movies! We're talking about approximately $4.17 per movie! Ummm, folks, that's called a WIN in my book. Run, don't walk, to get this before the sale is over and it goes back up! Hurry up, why are you still reading this!

This is a wonderful collection of serious James Bond films. Especially like extra features on each movie. Even has a slot for Spectre when it arrives. The quality is excellent in blu ray. The extras make it well worth the price. After I bought this I saw it at a discount store at a higher price! If you enjoy all the Bond movies this is the one. Get it before its gone!

I have wanted to collect James Bond movies for a long time, but some earlier movies are hard to find and the collection seems to cost a big fortune. This package is dream come true. Although I probably won't watch each single movie, but I am happy enough to have all of them in my possession and I can watch whichever one I want. The package itself is very neat in back&white - I cannot come up a better design myself. Good job- Best Buy!

This is a review for the movie collection, the picture and sound. First of all the collection of the movies are all included except for the newest one Spectre and the unlicensed Never Say Never Again. The collection comes in 3 cases going from Dr.No to Skyfall with a place for Spectre when it comes out. The audio is DTS-HD Master audio.

This is an awesome Blu-Ray collection of ALL of the James Bond movies (from Dr. No to Skyfall). It has attractive packaging. It even comes with room for the newest movie (Spectre) to be added in 2016. My hubby is going to love this gift! (He is just so spoiled!) Might I add that the price was very attractive too?!!!!

Saw this on Walmart.com, and my local Best Buy matched the price. Very inexpensive for 23 films. Also has a spot for SPECTRE (which was an awesome movie). If you are looking for digital copies also, this set is not for you. I don't care about having digital copies, so this was a good price and product.

This bluray set is awesome for reliving all of the 007 films. Each has superb video and sound quality and is as good (or almost) as going to the theatre on the original release date. There are all films plus bonus features and a spare slot in the case for when Spectre (2015) becomes available on bluray to slide it to the protective case.

I have always loved James Bond movies. I attempted to collect them all. But over the years I forgot or got busy or had other priorities. Then I would see a new movie and be reminded of my desire for a collection. I was soooo happy to see Best Buy did that for me!

I bought this as a gift for my stepdad who loves the James Bond movies. He's always watching them on tv when there's a marathon. He especially loves the older movies. This is great for someone who loves these movies. You get all of them in one place which is great to see, especially for the ones made in the 60s.

Have wanted to acquire the complete collection of James Bond movies to date without having to shop around for each individual movie on either DVD or Blu-ray. Buying this package accomplished my collection. Looking forward to adding Spectre to the collection when it is released.

I consider this one of the best purchases I have made. Every Bond film available on Blu-Ray. Yes, I had to purchase Spectre separately, because it was not released yet. I still feel this was one of those complete set in one buy, and all of the films in one box.

This set is a must have for all James Bond collectors. The set contains 23 Bond films and has a slot for the new movie Specter. The set has bonus items such as a mini poster book and a documentary called something or nothing. This is a must for any collector.

Although this collection didn't include Spectre, it was a great deal. Added Spectre on sale to complete the collection. The updates they did to the movies are great and love the small packaging to save space from the row of DVDs I used to have.

I love the James Bond 50 Years Collection set. I bought one last year, and our Family loves them, and the Value for the 30+/- thst comes with it. I gave this one away as a gift, to another James Bond Lover, He was thrilled to get it! It made a Great Gift!!
