Being a big fan of the books, I really enjoyed this series when it was originally shown on TV. I'm about to be homebound recovering from surgery, and bought these to help me pass the time. Really looking forward to reaquainting myself with these stories.

All 9 movies under one roof. Jesse Stone instills justice when it can't be achieved with conventional methods. In No Remorse, he cuts down a tree that's blocking a speed limit sign (illegal entrapment used by town cops). He hates authority. In Thin Ice, he tells the Town Council, "You can fire me, but you can't tell me what to do." Woven throughout all episodes, you see that he loves his ex-wife, and has tried diversions (drinking, women) but can't move past his sense of permanent loss and regret for losing her, which he faces each night before going to sleep--whether sitting on the edge of his own bed or someone else's. His psychiatrist keeps him in check by helping him work towards an acceptance of, and ways to think about and improve, his life situation--this is a picture of what a real psychiatrist is and should be doing for patients. Jesse deals with all this, while doing what's best to protect the town of Paradise. Tom Selleck is so much more than a beautiful package, and it shows, here.

I am a huge Tom Selleck fan, And I’ve been looking for all of the shows that are on this CD. I love the haunting music that they use on everyone of these movies. It has exceptional location spots on these movies as well. For those who love the ocean, and Tom Selleck, this is a must have series! I love the fact that he is so real. He fights his demons and cares for those around him.

I really enjoyed this Jessie Stone book Movie collection! I think Tom Selleck did a great job as Jessie Stone. The only thing that I didn't like was that the proper viewing order of the series of movies was not in the correct order on the discs. I had to do some research online to find the proper order to watch the movies in.

I love my Jesse Stone movie collection. I binge-watched the entire collection over the Christmas weekend.

I have been trying to complete the series and this made it easier to watch one of Tom Selleck’s best role portrayal as “Jesse Stone”. Excellent movies, there is suspense, action, and very good storylines and overall good performances by the individual cast members.

I'm a Tom Selleck fan from the early days. I've always liked the fact that he plays fairly wholesome and family friendly shows/characters. The Jesse Stone series is no exception. While there is some definite sexual innuendo, there's nothing to blatant or unnecessary. The quality of acting and dialog leaves me with no complaints at all. My only complaints, and the only reason I left a 3 star rating, is with the timeline and packaging. When I received the DVDs, the case was cracked all to heck. The DVDs will barely stay clipped into place and the case itself can't even be closed completely. I bought this in store, so I should have been given a discount or something for such a highly damaged product. My only other complaint it the timeline in the series. Each movie in basically a stand alone movie. You don't have to watch them in any specific order for themost to make sense or be more enjoyable. However, there is a definite timeline to the series and they're not listed in chronological order on the DVDs. If you watch them in the order listed on the DVDs, the series will jump around a bit.

Tom Selleck nails this role. Reggie is fabulous as well. I like noir detective stories, thus the rating. They are slow, but I think its worth the wait for the reveals at the end. Supporting cast has some surprising names

The Jesse Stone movies are a national treasure. Easily the best work that Tom Selleck has done in his career. He has even said so in interviews. The made-for TV movies look like they were done for theatrical release. The writing, cinematography, directing, and acting are exceptional on every level. And the music is absolutely transformative. This set is a MUST for every Jesse Stone fan, every Tom Selleck fan, and every fan of well-crafted movies. WARNING: the movies on these discs are in scrambled order. Do some research and watch them in the correct order starting with "Night Passage."

Tom Selleck's "Jesse Stone" films were remarkable in being of such consistently high quality from the first to the last, They're all very watchable and enjoyable.

Didn't know Tom Selleck had made nine Jesse Stone movies. All fun to watch, very entertaining. Love the dog.

Writing is great and cinematography excellent. Plots were absorbing. Acting was above average but Tom Selleck was predictable in all stories.

Awesome movies. The discs are out of order in the set. Double checked and confirmed that they are not printed in order. Disc one contains the first movie and one from later in the series. Still excellent movies and nice to have in one set. Recommend printing the order before watching.

Good to have all films and one lot. It makes sitting down to a Jesse Stone evening really great, thank you

I got this for my wife who loves the Jessie Stone series and now she can watch it whenever she wants.

My wife is a fan of these films & she also loves Tom Sellick so this was perfect.

Great price. Tom Selleck always a hit. Great story lines and plots.

Not bad movies but more my wife's taste!! Still like watching.
