This was a very bad live action remake of a very amazing classic. I would never own it or watch it again.

Was not of good quality. The movie had slow parts.

This is one of my favorite Disney films Has my favorite Disney song, Louis Prima's "I Wanna Be Like You". Still a beautiful looking film. Good to see in blu ray & in wide screen. Here is another good selling point for this package: We get an extra with the late Diane Disney Miller months after her death, with Richard Sherman & Floyd Norman. Has older extras from previous DVD release Now-here is where I am unhappy. Two extras that are, well, why are they here or just plain BAD. They do a bit on Disney's Animal Kingdom. No problem with that on here BUT. It has a teenage boy & a young girl who went to OVER ACTING SCHOOL Just plain bad, I has trying to prevent myself from throwing up watching these two over act BADLY. Then, there is an extra that has NOTHING to do with the film at all. You wonder why it is here at all. About animation but has NOTHING to do with the film, future ideas called Spark. Does not belong here. The cheap no art work on the blu ray or DVD's Disney does now. Just plain cheap. Love the movie, good to see Diane one last time. Those two bad extras are the down point to this package.

I said that this is a true universal movie, because as a child, I was able to see it during the communist regime in my country. Somehow, this was one of the rare American movies not censured and, yes, animation movies were censured, too. But not this one. Somehow, this genial production has been able to soften even the censors. I am enjoying now, once again, this time accompanied by my own child, the best Disney movie and music ever to be put on tape. Excellent characters, incredible friendship lesson, music that makes memories alive and we are singing it for days after, story as much for adults as for kids. If Olympics makes wars stop, 'Jungle book' has made communists forgot their propaganda. It's a must for any DVD library.

Of the original Disney classic films, I mean the older ones while Walt was alive & right after his death, if I had to pick a favorite this is the one. I have both DVD packages for this film. I did rush out to purchase this the day it came out. Good characters but the reason I put this at the top of my Disney favorites (older films) was the music. My all time favorite Disney song “I Wanna Be Like You”. Just love the song. I always enjoy extras in my DVD packages. I did enjoy the “Making of” segment. It is a shame films are not made with this quality but rarely now a days.

This Platinum Edition release of the Jungle Book marks the 10th in the series of outstanding DVD products. This DVD is filled with lots of Disney magic that is fun for all ages. Not only will children laugh throughout the entire film but so to will parents and adults. Whether you have seen this film 100 times or for the first time, this is a classic that belongs in your DVD library. Don't miss out on the Jungle Book 40th anniversary edition!

A must for any collection of classic Disney 2D animation. The picture quality is great and the packaging/presentation is top notch, as I would expect from a modern Disney release. I had a renewed interest in seeing this again after seeing the live action version in theaters. Was not disappointed.

This is a classic a definite must have for any Disney Fan to add to their collection. I had missed the Limited Issue Release so I have been waiting for this title a long time :) Now I am glad I didn't over pay for the LTD elsewhere, A 2 Disc release is exactly what this title deserved if not better. Can't recommended this enough A++++

It's an instant classic, of course I had to pick it up when it became avaliable on blu ray. If you love Disney movies and have yet to see it, why not pick it up? The animation is not as rough as some of the previous classics to be put on blu and it is quite a relief.

Movie is just as I remember, FANTASTIC and the color and clarity is absolutely "Breath taking." My granddaughter is enjoying the movie as I am writing this and I can hear her giggling and laughing :) It is definately a must for your DVD collection as you will want to watch it again and again.

Definitely a must see if you like to sing along to Disney songs while you watch the story unfold. You're not likely to forget these music scenes as they are some of Disney's more catchy tunes with a good dancing beat that gets the characters trotting around the screen to everyone's delight.

I have always loved this movie. Now that it has been remastered the colors are so bright, the jungle and characters are beautiful. The fast play feature and sing a long songs makes it so easy for kids to watch and be entertained. The whole family will still love this classic!!

Jungle Book is an excellent film about friendship told in the classic Disney fashion, which means it is full of song and dance. You'll enjoy the digital restoration and bonus videos, plus never-before-seen footage. I think it is a must addition to your Disney DVD collection.

This is one of the classic Disney movies and is a must-see for any child. I used to watch it over and over when I was little and I still enjoy it today. The songs are great (and get stuck in your head!) and the plot is very cute.

This has to be my favorite Disney Annimated movie. The story, characters are just wonderful. I love the songs as well. After watching it you will fine yourself singing the songs. My kids love it as well. Will always be a favorite!

I absolutely loved this movie as a kid, but now that is has been restored on DVD it is better than ever. I could not be happier that I purchased this movie to share with my son. It is a "Bear necessity" to own this Disney DVD!!!

A delightful movie. Brings back memories. It's about time Disney rereleased this classic.

I'm glad they released this from the vault! I have started a Disney collection for my family and this is a must own! I grew up watching this and so will my kids! Great movie.

This is a great movie for all ages. My husband told me this was the last movie Walt Disney actually worked out. Definitely worth having your children check it out or to watch it and remember your past disney days
