A clasic film and i so enjoyed seeing this show in the highest quality I had ever been able to enjoy. The sound quality seemed to be at the top of what was available in its day and the color and clarity of the film was at its best.

The great Yul Brynner and Deborah Kerr gives a wonderful performance in a true classic and epic film. I wish Yul was in our time now, we would've loved him even more. Just imagine Yul Brynner, George Clooney and Brad Pitt being friends and doing films together. That would've been historical for us today in every way.

"The King and I" finally gets the Blu-ray treatment it deserves. Picture qualities sharp, and the musical score sounds better than it did in the theaters. The story itself is sweet, melancholy, and brings back a wonderful sense of nostalgia. Plus, we have the legendary performance by Yul Brynner.

Loved the movie and the music. When asked what do I think of when the name Yul Brenner is mentioned, it is always this movie. He is and will always be the King no matter how many remakes there are. It is a lovely and timeless movies for all ages. Not many movies fit that category.

I saw this movie when it came out. My aunt and uncle were up from California and took my grandmother and myself to the Lewis and Clark theater to see it. This movie has stuck with me for all these years.A wonderful musical,great acting and great songs.a must have.

I really enjoyed this classic movie. I love my blu-ray because it has great color and sound. The extras were nice and enjoyable. I had not seen the King and I since I was a child and watched it with my Mom. I would suggest anyone who loves this movie should get the blu-ray.

My wife is a music teacher, and this was a great platform for education about the transition of stage to movie and back again. The characters did a great job back in the day. Great if you like musical talent mixed with entertainment from another era. Great Value!

First time to see this movie on Blu ray and I am glad I purchased the upgrade. Yul Brenner has always been one of my favorite actors and his musical ability always surprises me.

After seeing a Broadway touring production of The King and I, I kept thinking about the movie. I found this online and I'm glad I ordered it. My twin 7 year old grandkids are into musicals and they really liked watching it.

I had seen the DVD years ago and wanted to give as a gift. I was not disappointed. Initially I went to a store that did not have the item. I was told it was just as cheap to order on line due to holiday shipping "free"

The King and I with yul Brenner has to be one of the best classic movies ever made, and to see it in Blu ray is amazing they have made other versions of the King and I This is movie is something everyone should have in their DVD library

This film is a masterpiece, love the BD HI-DEF transfer, love the music and surround sound. Deborah Kerr is gorgeous and Yul Brynner excels! Love the picture and special features!

this tells the true story of a english woman ,anna lenowens,who comes to Siam to be a schoolteacher in 1860's. The stubborn king and teacher over time stop trying to change each other and learn how to get along!!!!

This is one of best movies at all time !!! Great acting and overall really entertaining!!! Yul Brynner was very funny and charming as a King and his children soooo adorable...Love love love this movie!!!

I watched this movie even as a kid, and I still love it.. ZI always thought that Yul Brenner was sooooo handsome and strong . But about the movie.. its will get 5 stars.. a true Classic

The "King and I" has a bit of everything, great acting, singing, dancing, and humor. Deborah Kerr has a beautiful voice and is amazing. Yul Bruner brings character to life with great performance.
